I know it's just a name, but if it had been me , I'd have expanded on the bassworld idea and registered www.bassplanet.co.uk, which is currently available.

I have a 3U rack with a nice new Tech TVM600 head replacing my currentlyout of action Tech TVM350 and a Korg rackmount tuner. I have a POD XT Live that I bring along when I need effects - which is only for one of the three bands/projects I'm currently involved in.
