  1. Here was me just thinking that my old BB 1600 was just a figment of my imagination! If anyone comes across a sunburst one with an xlr input fitted, I would love it back!
  2. Just completed a trade with Mark, absolutely no problems, perfect tansaction. Excellent comms, very friendly and helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again.
  3. Post on CraigsList USA. POST: Bass player available for PAYING GIGS ONLY. I play G, C, D. If your songs are not in G, please transpose them into G. If your song has an Em or Bm or anything off the wall I will probably sit out that chord. Or I could learn those notes for $30 each. If you want me to do fancy stuff like go back and forth between G and D while you hold a G chord, forget it because I'm a "pocket" player. Minimum $100 per gig within a 5 mile radius of 39202. $5 per mile travel charge for other areas out of town. Please make sure your gigs are on a JATRAN bus route, or you can pick me up at my place. Must be home by 11pm due to previous legal hassles. No gigs within 500 yards of schools, parks, or playgrounds.

Hey Peter, from one Moffat virgin to another! I had a great time too, love the pics, (glad I got through it without my shoulder popping out again!)
  8. Sounds exceptional, you'll regret it!
  9. Wouldn't Jon Shuker have his details if he did the conversion on the bass ?
  10. How long did it take everyone to copy these pics? best gear porn I've seen in a long time!

  13. That neck code is also wrong, the second last digit is the year! In this case 1, which is 1971! [url="http://home.provide.net/~cfh/fender.html#serial"]http://home.provide.net/~cfh/fender.html#serial[/url]
  14. If I where near Salisbury, I'd be having this: [url="http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bass-Guitar-Indie-Electric-/140665745734?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item20c054f146"]http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bass-Guitar-Indie-Electric-/140665745734?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item20c054f146[/url] Jazz copy with lovely wood grain and active pickups by the look of it!
  15. [quote name='Clarky' timestamp='1323889017' post='1468385'] You have just described at least half the membership of BassChat [/quote] Without a doubt!
  16. [sub]Here's my mini country rig, bought the cab from a guy who made it for a country band that fell through.[/sub] [sub]It's a 350 watt 12" Eminence in a suede covered cab! with chicken wire! It was a bit rattly at volume when I got it, so I replaced the back with a more solid piece of wood with bass ports, and it now pumps out a great deal of bass at volume! (even with my Shuttle 6 through it)[/sub] [sub]Crate amp 150 watts, tiny (and very versatile, stereo capabilities)[/sub] [sub]£70 amp, £30 cab! Not bad for a very giggable set up.[/sub] [sub][IMG]http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/h327/uke2/IMG_1138.jpg[/IMG][/sub] [sub][IMG]http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/h327/uke2/IMG_1143.jpg[/IMG][/sub]
