8.
it's all transient WOT , this time next year they'll sack ya cos your Fenderless, get a Stagg till it all passes
+1 Dont do it, you will regret it!

  10. Hi Gerry, will you sell ? Gary
  11.
could do with one of them, what make are they? and is the fan loud?
They're Poundlands own make, and the fan is pretty insignificant with no audible noise!
  12.
Do the heads stay on under gig conditions? I've had my Shuttle 6.0 vibrated off the top of my cabs before. I had to buy a 'rock towel' (black hand towel) to place underneath it to hold it steady.
Sorry, I haven't had a chance at gig level yet, but I've had it pretty cranked up in the garage and it seems solid enough!
  13. Tweeters don't work for me with upright, (or electric) too much string and neck noise, I have a standard Midget and it covers the whole gamut without the sound of a nailgun on a tin can in the background!
  14. On louder gigs I prefer the Midget cab on its side to match the width of my Aggie, (this would be the case also with the Compact!) but my Shuttle head wont sit right on the handle! I ordered some Platfoam blocks at the time I ordered the cab but they seem to be out of stock, so I've been getting by with various makeshift bits of foam, but the eureka moment came when I was in Poundland a couple of days ago and I spotted this laptop cooler fan/stand! with blue led's powered by usb! I thought fab, I'll rip the gubbins out and use it as an amp stand on the cab, then came my pimp my cab moment when I remembered I had a small mains usb adaptor (£6 maplins) plugged it in and you can see the result in the photos, looks very cool!.... (well it is as the wee fan can only be doing it good) and all for a pound
  15. Just got a strap from Gareth, very quick delivery and very good comms! Hope to deal with you again, cheers!

    Bass Scales
If you've already got some bathroom scales, use those. Weigh yourself, then weigh yourself plus suitcase/bass/etc. One minus the other = postage/baggage allowance.
Doesn't really work with an 33 kilo EBS combo though as I found out!
  17. Hi everyone, I bought these so my case wouldn't be over 15 kilos for flying, but I've had more fun guessing what each of my basses weigh! Extremely accurate and can weigh up to 50 kilos, (can also use in lbs mode, which is handier for bass weight) I'm away down the garage now to try it out on cabs! (already weighed the kids and the dog!) Have to be a must for some of the mega gassers on here for postage quotes. 18. I have a Shuttle 6 too and used it for the last couple of gigs with the programmable Sansamp bass driver DI, three preset sounds all footswitchable! I use a warm valve sound on 1, a modern scooped sound on 2, and a full on Ampeg sound for the punkier numbers and "Song 2" on 3. Pretty much the best working muso solution I've found! insomuch as, I think you could plug this pedal into anything and get a good sound!
  19.
Hmm - may have to get a tortoiseshell pickguard for the Strat.........................
You most certainly will! (My OCD is kicking in ) Oh... and change the neck on the Precision, and take the thumbrest off the Jazz! I just took that too far didn't I ... sorry!
