1. Its a clear acrylic finish. Ive used 2 cans of the b&q stuff. Ive gone up to 2000 grit, and it shiny, but dull if ya get me. Im looking for a nice shine. And ive been looking for silicone free rubbing stuff, but the ones on ebay dont mention that, so if you have a source i can use, that would be great.
2. Im having a look around, and i could do with some input. In order for me to get a shine on my bass body, i need a rubbing compound without silicon, so does anyone know where i can get some. Im looking on ebay, but im not sure about anything specific im supposed to be looking for.
3. Same. Im not too good. This is my attempt at routing some pickup routes. However, if shockwave is good with a router or chisel, it should be no problem.
4. Well, if altering the instrument is an option, route out a hole for the bridge. Like this, but not as big, just enough so the bridge plate is level with the body.

6. Im not sure about bridges, but if you have access to a mill, you could make your own saddles. I did, cos i wanted them out of brass, and they work quite well.
7. Cool. Ive got some of that paper ordered now. Thanks.

10. Yeah. Those are the type that can. You undo the screw holding the gear in place, remove it, then switch the key around. Ive done it before on several myself.
11. Im pretty sure the tuners can be reversed. Like 90%, just for anyone interested. You have any pictures of them?
12. Looks like he is back to using his modulus's live. Taken from a very recent show and
13. Indeed. Had any use out of them?
14. im not sure how well bass would do, unless you got a loop pedal and did a whole band thing
15. Are they still the original factory colour?
16. I had the exact same one, and i sold mine. I too would like it back, but i managed to put together 2 basses, and mod one of my own with the money.
17. I was just wondering if they looked like this on the bottom Or if it had a big magnet on the bottom.
18. Does it use a magnet on the bottom, or are they magnetic slugs?
19. I ve used a few no name ones like that from ebay. Mainly 2MM's, a P and J. Seem to be alright.
20. Well i thought that, but it says it has a series/parallel for both neck and bridge pup, so im thinking its been buried under the wood
21. You can try a length of hose. I use it and it works pretty well.
22. Strange semi bass Came up on my saved searches. The first thing is the pickup being "submerged" in the bass with the second pickup being completely hidden. The second, there is no way to access the controls if something breaks. truly strange
