I've used the zoom for gigs for the past 6 months or so and use an external switch to bypass it. Its worked fine until this weekend. Now when i use my external switch to put the unit in bypass it also mutes the output so i get nothing out. Took me a while to twig this! Disconnected the switch and when i hit the two patch buttons it goes into bypass but lets the signal through, connect up the switch to bypass it and it mutes it to. Had a look in the manaul but can't figure out whats gone wrong or what i need to do to fix it Any help appreciated

Didn't like the bypass on the 6, it coloured my sound but if you are not going to turn it off it was a great bit of kit. Using a Zoom b2.1u at the moment which although doesn't have as much functionality as the 6 (you can only scroll through patches as opposed to being able to turn effects on and off in a patch with the 6) its a great peice of kit that is easy to set up

my rig, bass and pedals is in the £5k ballpark and thats what i use to gig with wherever that is. Rowdy pub or not. I just like how it sounds so thats what i use. Never thought of the actual value of it.

Great pedal. Still sits on my board for a couple of sounds and also as an emergency DI. +1 to getting a cheap footswitch to bypass it and use the tuner. Drum machine is fun to! Keep meaning to use through the usb but not got a round tuit yet!
