1. Spoke to mike today, its all done bar the transfer for the headstock and a final set up
2. The EAD Foundation is an awesome cab. Love my Berg NV412 too!
3. Still in final testing. Dave mentioned that he was going to test some other crossovers and stuff before pulling the trigger on production
4. My EAD Foundation 212 is the best made, finished sounding cab i have ever owned and does not have the same homemade feel that the barefaced i trialed had IMO
5. Couple of bad pics of my Foundation 212 and Purple Chili Phat bass head
6. Pre holiday bump
7. Just got off the phone with mike. This should be done by next week Originally i was going to have the headstock blacked like the body but decided to leave natural after seeing the pictures. Mike is very pleased with the build and says the fretboard looks even better now its been laquared. Pups are made customs for my bass made by Wizard.
8. the old hymns are always a laugh. Chord changes every half bar and always in Eb!!!
9. I should add i'm a christian bass player and play in my local Baptist church when i can. I just make up basslines from the chord charts. Very loose and very fun and have managed to include an envelope filter on a couple!

They were cool as.
Brussels Spaceship, there is a blast from the past! Seventh Angel and Detritus were my favourites
11.
If you are coming via Radstock, there is a new shop there, The Loft. https://www.facebook...theloftradstock
Keep meaining to drop in and visit that.
12. I believe its based on the one he made for Norman Watt Roy not the groovemeister but i could be wrong!
13. yeah, it is a bit more jazzy than precisiony!

15. just don't order! Walk away and relax!
16. didn't think the distance selling regs applied to 'custom' items
17. February darling, february
18.
This is indeed a veeeeery nice bass, fantastically well built too... and the same could be said for Mike.
Don't make me come over there you big gay
19. I have heard the vanderkley 112's and they are fantastic cabs. Another to consider is the new to the market EAD Foundation 212. Info in the affiliates forum. This is great 212 with tweeter and mid plus a custom point to point crossover. The build quality and attention to detail is staggering and unlike anything i've owned before. Definitely worth checking out
20. Great bass but its not getting any use as my go to bass at the mo is my precision which suits all three of my current bands and projects. Build thread and pictures is here http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 Fantastically made bass which looks better than the pictures! Huge tonal range and great to play. Not desperate in desperate need to get rid of this but would let it got for £900 as the cash would be useful. Comes with a hiscox case. Collection from Bath/Bristol preferred.
21.
I appreciate all your points, but I get the impression that you will never be happy with a production line bass. Next time, stick with a UK-based luthier - that way you know what's going on every step of the way.
This
