    Definitely a replacement neck. The stringtree was used in the early '80's.

    It wasn't my intention to question the quality of the bass, i own several Wal basses myself. So i am familiar with it´s quality of build. But you rarely see a Wal with, what i thought it was, the masking tape. Must have been a language problem. Always wanted one like these.

    I've never seen a Wal black polyester without it's color matching headstock! This is a very unique Wal. Good luck with the sale.
