    Thanks CamdenRob, usually the serialnumber gives a hint. Not sure if these Wals had that masking tape inside.

    A time ago BassDirect had a similar Wal bass for sale. It had a cavityplate with copper foil. Is that also with your Wal?

    Are you sure about the rosewood fretboard? I own a similar one which has a rosewood fretboard. This looks like ebony. GLWTS!

    My Wals have 12" as well. I do remember seeing a Wal with a solid shedua body somewhere on the internet.

    It must be a W3xxx serial number, build in the late ´80 /´90. It has the latest design stringtree.
