3. What a stunning fretless! Is it a plain fretless without any sidemarks?
4. Indeed a very nice Wal. What made it clear it's a 1980? Good luck with the sale.
5. Is it a fretless? I really would like to see one of those. Add some pictures please.
6. Impressive Wal. Are there big differences in sound considering the placement of the pickups?
7. What happened to that shiny foil on the inside of the controlcaviety? It looks a bit brown.
8. What a beautiful Wal, apart from those minor lacker things it looks like new. Your a lucky chap having such a magnificent bass!
9. Very nice Wal, looks like new. What made you decide to want black Shallers? Looks stunning by the way....
10. I don't quite get what you mean with the polish and varnish part, but I've never seen a six string Wal like this one. But I do recall that Pete used to call them the "ironboards".
11. Is there a chance at some detailed pictures?
12. It is a rare, beautiful Wal with that solid body. And certainly unique.

14. What an extra oridinairy bass, good luck with the sale.
15. That can't hardly be the reason not to buy such a beautiful, unique bass!
16. This is a very very special fretless. And very very tempting, considering trades?
17.
From distance it is more like light brown-ish. From close up certain details in the pattern can be said to look green-ish. But again depending on an angle of viewing. Hard to explain. I'll take some daylight photos and upload.
I've seen one with birdseye maple facings, wich was chemically treated and had a very rare greenish coulor.
18. Very nice Wal. Is it that greenish colour? Should go for €2500,- or more. Good luck with the sale.
19. I've met him several times, he was a lovely person. His sense of humor along with his care for nature and environment will be missed. Only 65 ....
20. That controlcavietyplate marks the end of a piece of history. It is indeed a very special Wal. I envy it's new owner. Thanks for the picture.
21. Building basses is done by humans and even the best one's make mistakes. According to it's controlcavietyplate this bass left the shop without a neck..... Good luck with the sale, the padouk looks great.
