  1. Oh you've got to be kidding me! PM'ed!
  2. The Johnny Shredfreak is around 1500 mA I think. The Diago is around 3000. I've had both and never noticed any difference between the two, except one is £13 and one is £60 (?). If I were you, I'd get a shredfreak and a gigrig and be done with it.
  3. The gigrig distributor is great, but you will need a power supply as the distributor is only a device for kinda neatening up a board. I used to have a distributor and the johnny shreadfreak power supply. Worked great.
  4. Haha. I'm still tempted to keep an eye out for some as I've got a bass similar to the guy from Weezer and they were the pickups he had. I just hope they won't start going for stupid money because they're 'golden era' Schecter stuff. Cheers for the help folks. Think I'll pass on the 2 neck pups
  5. I'll hazard a guess and say 'yes'. I think I'm destined never to have a set of them. There's some in Sweden, but the shop never ever replied to me, even when I was gagging to throw money at them. 2nd set I found were from the states and I'm still waiting for them. They were sent in April, so should be here any day now! And now I've found 2 neck ones. Maybe I should just give up!
  6. Well the ones I'm looking at are on ebay at the moment and finish at 4am on Monday morning. So I don't definitely have them. The pups I'm looking at are Schecter Monstertones. They're rounded at the edges and have no covers so you can see the copper. Got any lying around Doctor?
  7. Hi folks, I've been searching for some rare Jazz pickups for ages, and found some! But, they're both the neck pickup. I just wanted to know if there's any difference between the actual pickups themselves, or does the sound come more from the position on the bass? Hope that makes sense Cheers m'dears!
  8. Hosa cables! That's it!
  9. George L's are the standard for pedalboards, or also the planet waves stuff in the post before mine. I know the jacks you mean though...they're silver and round and have a flat 'back', but the name escapes me. If I remember them I'll let you know
  10. With that logic, sign me up for a 5 watt Matamp! Prob going to need some sensitive cabs though for gigging
  11. I'd love a 100watt GT too. I think the rate is £1399 for a gt200...may be wrong though
  12. Bumping this because I just made the call to Matamp. Should have something in a week or so
  13. PICS OF MATAMPZZZ NOW PLZ?!!?!?
  14. Hey buddy, I'll take it. PM'ed!
  15. That cab's been on ebay for a few weeks now. The original starting price was something like £430
  16. 5 hours to go and 26 quid! Bid my friends, bid!
  17. It's hard to go wrong with LPB
  18. A few of the letters are right....L...ster Close, but no cigar
  19. There's matamp.co.uk...doesn't say anything about bass cabs or amps though
  20. A Matamp-fest sounds like a right hoot! At least then there's no worry my wallet will be empty at the end of the day Cheers for all your help folks..appreciated
  21. I think I'm looking for a more 'aggressive' sounding cab...can you even get agressive sounding cabs? Whilst I dig Motown for the music, I'm not looking to sound that way. If we could arrange something in Manc perhaps around bassday weekend that would be cool, but it's competely upto you guys...I'm not the one lugging around bass cabs
  22. Isn't Beedster in Canterbury? I couldn't be much further away if I'd tried! I'll prob give this a few days then recycle the bad boy.
  23. Monz...sorry, just re-read your post. If anything could be arranged to try these out, I'd be over the moon! Do you know how yours and Ste's differ? Cheers
  24. I'm not planning on going to Bassday, but may reconsider. I'm based in Lancaster so not too far away from Manchester really. Steve, many thanks for the offer. I may have to take you up on it rather soon. Only if you can excuse god-awful bass playing
