1. Am I right in thinking you need an amp with 2 separate speaker outs? There seems to be no way of linking the cabs to each other. Edit- This seems to answer my question. http://www.talkbass.com/threads/2-gk-neo-112-ii-linked-is-that-possible.626471/ Conclusion- practice what you preach and Google it first :-)
2. Cory Henry is one of the hottest players for me right now. Chuck Sharay Reed into the mix and it's going to be spiritual in more ways than one.
3.
So which preamp is in this bass?
Its the Sadowsky Vol/Vol/Bass/Treble with push/pull bypass. No VTC.
4. It's a good price but in a buyer's market it needs to be
5. Bump and price adjustment Now £590 delivered within the UK.
6. I want to like Florence- she seems like a good person but my oh my... Flat as you like with a vibrato like Feargal Sharkey on a jackhammer. Every time I looked up at the screen I kept imagining Sarah Ferguson doing a tribute to Kate Bush on some kind of Celebrity Stars in their Eyes.
7. I hear you but perhaps there is some truth in the opening line of the OP. Perhaps try and think of it less as a tune with an MM line in it and more a song as a whole. You'll get the funk going on with your 5er and can still get the original vibe for the most part. You're not being a singer's bitch. We're all serving the song regardless of key. Hope you get to enjoy it either way.
8. The drummer is Donovan Hepburn. He's pretty solid to say the least!!! A lovely player.
9. Steve Pearce on bass in support act for the Ronnie's date I believe. 2 for 1.
10. I'd want (and put, if I was arranging) a # on either the first tied quaver or the first red circle. They may be a "correct" way of writing things but when you're writing for musicians who will be either sight reading in a quick band call or even on the gig, you need to remove all question of doubt immediately.
11. I made a 7hr round trip for a long lesson with Jake yesterday- I say a lesson but it felt more than that. I needed time to talk and what others have said rings true; Jake listens, really listens, and uses his experience to impart the correct advice. The lesson finished at about 4pm but the effects of the advice will continue to grow. Thanks Jake. Tone, time and taste.
12. Price drop £595 COLLECTED only. Delivery is extra- we can arrange a meet if you like (within reason). Cash sale only, no trades thanks.
