The original (tweed) case was never available (from Japan) but it has a new Hiscox. The controls are back to original spec. (Vol-Vol -3EQ). Exceptional build quality & tone. It's 34" scale with 1.75" nut, 9mm spacing at the nut and 18mm at the bridge. Probably the best Jazz-5 I've played...... GONE !!!!

* OM = Owners Manual/Booklet, tool etc. (included). It's got some nice, new half-rounds fitted and has been throughly cleaned/checked-over. (hopefully quick sale)

Great Bass(es) / top seller (Haz/Harry) ! I have the VJ4 (ash/maple) and it's probably the 4' I'll be holding-onto. Mine has the upgrade big-singles & Audere pre' .. but build quality and playability is, I'm sure, similarly excellent. Not sure re. the 5's but my 4 is only 8.3 lbs. !

I have this unusual example of Bernie G's original basses, which 'disappears' if you happen to be wearing a grey, herringbone suit whilst playing (!). Re. the 'Nightingale'(s) - I thought these were all built by Bernie's early/former partner Neil MacDonald ?!!
