"this is not a Gold Top it's all gold" Yeah heavy, but worth its weight in, er....

I gave in an Binged it. As for Dad, I managed to squeeze it in, but I never would have been Cain&Abel to get it.
Actually, I wear prescription glasses
Me too, and i think I need new ones... at first glance the thread title looked like "Geezer Naked". And I still clicked on it.

Barefaced Retro Two10 - Shock and Awe bass sound
ras52 replied to Jenny_Innie's topic in General Discussion
I played it through my pc squeakers. Does this make me a bad person? Still sounds great though
I listened through by poxy little earbuds via the workplace PC's sound card. Planer, if you're a bad person then I'm going straight to hell. (I liked it too.) -
I've heard of Black Sabath but honestly can't name a single song of theirs.
That's OK, no cause to be paranoid...
look at Dave Marks website, he swears by V-Moda phone's and has written about them on there. Hope that helps.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I have the distinct feeling that that is the biggest load of complete w*** I have heard in a long time.
You are not wrong. :-(

Alright Now - What do you do in the verses?
ras52 replied to allighatt0r's topic in General Discussion
I won't say, "I don't like to be pedantic, but...", because I love being pedantic. And thus it gives me great pleasure in pointing out that the song is actually called "All Right Now". Alright? -
The real mystery is why characters played by Bruce Willis (I'm looking at you, Maclaine) can't afford to buy biological detergents.
Many people with sensitive skin or other conditions can't tolerate biological detergents. Just sayin'.
Probably not going to be there much longer: http://www.theguardi...t-tin-pan-alley
Depressing reading.
Will be a shame when this does all come to pass. Even if Wunjos escape the next wave of development, you'd think as the area improves and rents increase it will become even more unsustainable for the independants. Gradually the smaller guys get squeezed out - bookshops / records / and so on.
Yup, I was up in that end of Charing Cross Road last week in search of a book (remember them?) Foyles have moved, with what looks like a bunch of short-timers in their space: wonder what'll happen to that fine old building. Blackwells has also shut down. Music wise, I live in SE London but slog around the M25 to Andertons when I'm in serious window-shop/try-out mode. Having said that, Denmark Street has improved recently - mostly thanks to the rise of Wunjo's and the decline of Music Ground. Surprised to hear that Westside is a MG outfit, as I got really good service from them when I was shopping for an acoustic six-string.

Ooh, this has crept up on me and I think I'm free that weekend. Better start practising my slapping
Hah, wow, no, I accidentally didn't see the last page of the thread when I went through it. Anyway, I also know TheGreek's one. It is a reggae tune and I happen to love reggae music "Mystical powers to you unfold Seek ye the half that has never been told" Steel Pulse - Chant A Psalm The one I posted above is still the new one
Super. Almost as super as it would be if I knew the one you posted
Or maybe it's playing with horns that gives you that aversion.
Playing with the horn can be quite tricky...

Double-sharps really get up my nose, they're always trying to get above their station. Deflated, sagging double-flats, on the other hand, I just feel sorry for.

Very nice!
Big shot, from the hip, neon cool Bryan Ferry - Tokyo Joe New one: Tooth and nail will wear any man down...
Is that your answer to TheGreek's line? #confused
I do that in any band situation anyway
In which case: http://www.bing.com/search?q=jazz+open+mic+nights&pc=MOZI&form=MOZLBR
The £ note is my favourite.
Bad news, they're no longer legal tender.
Think of it as Bb - much more mellow, well grounded sort of note!
I love Bb. Harmonically, I love Bb maj7. If I'm writing - no matter what key I'm in - it always feels good to slip in a Bb maj7. About F... anyone who started out on guitar probably remembers having trouble holding down an F major barre chord, which may be the "childhood trauma" that colours their view of this innocent note.
Would love to go to one but the thought of randomly going up and jamming with randomers is a bit daunting.
It's OK, just play random notes. Randomly.
Something that's been inspirational to me: "In your hands lie your destination The book of true life you hold the key..."
Is it time for a clue?
