1.
Interesting. What made you choose Atelier Z over the plethora of other Japanese supper-jazz makes?
Ticked most of the things I'm looking for a bass. 70's look/sound maple board light weight capable of totally different sound in a flick of a switch Only thing is it's 34" hence I have a Lakland for 35".
2. I've been waiting for years to get a hold of this beauty. Finally pulled the trigger last week. Second hand from Ishibashi. Atelier Z M265 Plus custom white with her older sister Fender 70's RI Will post more photos of both later after work!
3. ohhh. would love to own again! If only I haven't ordered a new bass last week I would've gone for this one. These basses are great. I loved mine to bits. Somebody will get a very good deal here.
4. Nice! I'm interested on your 212. Looks like I'll order one next year.
5. Bass is in customs since last night. I'm assuming I'll have it by the end of the week? Hopefull? Can't wait....
6. It sounds very Warwick-ish to me. Looks great though! I want to try one.
7. Looking at this plus 2 CL 112. Want to downsize my rig. Been an EBS fan for a while but never really owned my own EBS rig.
8. Bought some strings from Kev. Excellent.

10. Hello. I'm from Worcestershire too. Welcome welcome!
11. I'm looking forward to post my update.. Still waiting for the new arrival. Should be with me next week.
12. Went to guitarguitar Birmingham yesterday and tried Lakland DJ5 in grey. If it was in white I would've gone home with it!

14. Babicz on my jazz. Sonically minimal difference. I only got one because of the fact that I can lock the string height compared to those standard bridges.
15. I know we both are GAS-ing for Laklands so Darryl Jones it is. I'm quite set myself now to get a DJ5 in white and maple when the stock arrives.
16. I have both Fender and Lakland, and I'm in the Lakland camp. Yes it doesn't sound much different in a band context but it was the neck that won it for me. Most comfortable neck I've played on and to think it won me over a US MTD.
17. I have three. Adding one this November hopefully. 1. Fender Jazz 70's RI 2. Warwick LX Jazzman 3. Lakland Tetsuya Signature
18. Ohhhh... If this was a maple board I would've snatched it right away! Good luck!
19.
Was it to do with neck radius? I was surprised at just how thick the necks are, definitely not the most playable of beasts.
Partly. I found the neck just a tad bit wider than my preferred. It was mostly because of the tone, it sounds good on some songs but didn't quite worked out on some (for me anyway! don't shoot me for this!) and the size of it as well. I'm only little! It was a blind purchase anyway so I traded it. Looking at some Sterlings at the moment. It might work out this time!
20.
That is what my black SR5 sounds like, the bass in the clip being a Sterling it has a pickup selector and the ceramic pickup like some SR5s (1993-2007ish?), she is an untameable beast but what a beast she is
I should've gone for a Sterling on my first Musicman purchase. I never really got on with my Stingray sadly.
