Time to shift another bass that’s not getting enough use. The build quality of this is phenomenal. Great neck with Ebony fingerboard that is soooo dark! It’s in superb condition, a small paint chip (circled) is the worst of it. A thumb rest has been added which can be removed but will leave two screw holes. It’s been modded with a John East preamp that contains vol, pickup pan, bass, treble, mid, mid freq and separate piezo blend, piezo tone, Active / passive switch. 33.75” scale 19mm string spacing EDIT - Now includes Hiscox Liteflite hard case (not the one pictured). £975 > Now £950 delivered in the UK.

£13.56 seems like a good price for these: D'Addario EXL165 XL Nickel Wound Regular Light Top/Medium Bottom Electric Bass Guitar Strings https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0002LI5W2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NM1HFbF30GX1R

He may end up wishing he'd put a reserve price on this.

Hmm - I wonder if the seller used an alternative account to bid on the item creating an unofficial reserve. I like the look of this bass but something just doesn’t feel right. Also - does anyone think the nut width looks like more of a jazz ? -
This is an awesome ‘player’ grade Les Paul with a fair amount of real road wear from many many hours of play. It’s a 1995 model and has an ebony fingerboard which is a little more desirable than the rosewood which many of these typically possess. There’s plenty of scratches and wear spots but nothing significant that impacts playability. Recently strung with a new set of super slinky’s. Includes a hard case (not photo’d) Trial / Pickup in Cardiff. Happy to post but will need to source a suitable box.

Paul bought an amp from me. Perfect, no-nonsense deal with lightning-fast payment. Cheers!

Ahhhh - I’ve been so unsure about this, however since purchasing a few months ago, all of my musical ventures have collapsed and it’s a luxury I can’t really justify keeping. I’m sure if you’re considering one of these you will know all about them and will have heard how very awesome they are. There are some great videos posted on YouTube from WoT of this forum. It’s not left the house, not been gigged (obviously), so it’s all mint apart from some scuffs on one of the securing clips for the lid which were actually present when I received the amp. I have all the original boxing and packaging so it can be sent safely. Price includes UK delivery or collect in Cardiff and I’ll knock off £15.

I bought this as a backup bass to my main 5 string and it’s barely been used. It’s in 9.5/10 condition (a few very minor scuffs if you look hard). This is outstanding value for money and it punches well above its weight. I can wrap it up well for shipping or can include a tatty (but useable) hard case (pictured) for an extra £20 Any questions get in touch.

There’s a red one on Reverb at the mo (In the UK). Pickup’s changed and brass surrounds missing unfortunately but still quite tempting...

I have an ‘84 BB3000 (black sparkle) modded with a BB2024 P p’up that has hung around for a few years now (which is quite an achievement for me!) I’ve had 3 BB1024’s come and go, fantastic basses... I periodically convince myself I need a backup for the BB3000 when I really don’t.

I joined the club yesterday with the acquisition of an R-400. I had high expectations prior to it’s arrival and I’m not disappointed. I’ve only messed around at bedroom volume but the tone is fantastic straight out the box, I’m not really a fanatic knob twiddler however this seems to go from ‘clean & fat’ to ‘fat & dirty’ in a seamless way that is very musical and pleasing IMO. Cant wait to crank this up, hopefully in the next few months. Thanks to all those who have contributed in this thread as it really helped me decide to take the punt on this. Additionally, great customer service from Leszek and the packaging was bomb-proof.

Recently acquired this but due to a recent change in circumstances, I offer it for sale. It’s close to mint condition, some light swirling in the finish if you hold it up to daylight but really not visible under typical lighting conditions. This bass plays brilliantly with a strong and even tone across the fretboard. The tone knob has a really broad spectrum of useable tones. Weight is 4.2 kg on my bathroom scales. No case for this but I can throw in a generic hardcase for an extra £50 if required. It will otherwise be packaged ‘bomb proof’ for transportation, I have a sturdy box and plenty of bubble wrap. £465 delivered to your UK address or collection from Cardiff (whilst observing the distancing rules ofcourse).
