  2. Hello, My double bass is still for sale, the original buyer decided not to go ahead with the sale as he was unable to come and collect it from me.
  3. Hello, I'm selling my Double bass that I have owned for about 12 months, I thought I would try my hand at it but I just don't have the time for it, and the student loan repayments have kicked in! hence the sale. She is an old, dusty 3/4 size double bass that is in need of a new set of strings and a setup probably. There are no markings anywhere on it to suggest a maker or date. The previous owner told me that his dad had owned this and he must have been about 45-50 ish so this has gotta be at least 65 years old The previous owner also told me that it had a professional repair done on the neck at some point, this does not affect playability and the instrument is totally solid. I am selling this for £350. There is no way I can send this to anybody so collection is a must. Please call me on 07835184478 if you are interested. I am based in Gosport, near Portsmouth on the South Coast. 4. Based on some early offers, I'll put it at £950 for now...
  5. Hey Guys, Up for sale is my 1971 Fender P Bass, I'm just not playing this very much at all at the moment and need to generate some cash. So here she is.... I am no vintage Fender expert (being a Warwick man) but a more well informed friend tells me that she is all original except for the Pickguard and the electronics. This bass would certainly look better with an early 70's tortoiseshell pickguard...maybe? I don't have the chrome ash tray things for it, I do however have a hard shell case that will be thrown in the sale. The bass is generally in good condition but does have signs of wear and tear that you would expect for a bass of this age. I urge any interested party's to come and try this bass before purchase, she really does sing and is incredibly easy to play, lots of low end thump. I have included quite a few pictures, so hopefully they will do all the talking.. I am based on the south coast in Gosport, which is near Portsmouth.
