  1. Boss RC-1 Loop Station - some light scratching, works perfectly, no box / manual - £60 Boss ODB-3 - New - unused with box and all manuals, case-candy etc- SOLD Boss GEB-7 - some light scratching, works perfectly, no box / manual - SOLD All prices include UK delivery.
  2. PRICE DROP - £1100 This is a somewhat reluctant sale - I love it but just favour my 4 stringers. This is a 1992 Warwick Thumb NT5 that has received some modifications along the way. Firstly, this was originally a fretless which I had converted a few years ago to fretted by Richard Meyrick (Luthier) here in Wales - I apologise to those fretless lovers who see this as a potentially criminal act. As such, the fingerboard is ebony instead of wenge. The intonation and setup is just fantastic and the frets still appear almost unworn, having received little use over the past few years. The only sign that indicates this was once fretless are that the side marking dots are positioned directly over the frets rather than in between them. Secondly, the preamp is not original, it's however a great pre and to my ears doesn't colour the natural tone of the instrument, just allows the different frequencies to be amplified. The pre-amp was made by Kiz Zoltan of Zolkow Preamps, The only difference from a standard thumb-pre is that the middle knob is a pickup blend rather than a mid control. Thirdly, in an attempt to reduce the weight of the instrument, I replaced all the original brass body hardware (Bridge & Control knobs) which had faded a bit, for the more modern Warwick non-brass equivalent. This has not effected the tone to my ears however I will include all the original hardware in the sale. The bass is however now a little lighter than it was originally, weighing 4.9 kg. Lastly, you will also notice that the truss rod cover is blank, i.e. no 'thumb bass' script. Either this has worn off over the years or its a replacement, these can be purchased from Warwick at extortionate cost. Overall, this bass is in excellent condition, with the relatively new frets and new body hardware, it has the look and feel of a new instrument, but with the compliment of all the great wood combinations and manufacturing-skill from what some consider to be the golden era of Warwick production. If you're interested, I'll happily encourage a viewing / test at my place in Cardiff. I'm willing to ship worldwide at buyers expense - the bass will come with a hard-shell case and will be bubble wrapped etc. As for trades, of course i'd prefer a cash sale but will entertain trades - generally I'll consider anything with four strings. Please see my feedback here on BC. Cheers, Graeme **SOLD**
  3. Stunning instrument! Saw this bass in the flesh when I bought another Warwick off the previous owner - such a lovely instrument and looks as new!
  4. Bought a pedal off Alan. Exactly as described and he posted it off the same day the deal was made! A super efficient transaction all round. Thanks again.
  5. Bought a set of control knobs of Stuart. Items as described and received quickly. Very pleasant transaction.
  6. This has been collecting dust for years now so time to move it on... A Gator 4U rack case in good condition with both keys - everything working as it should. There are some scuff marks here and there from previous use but pretty minimal. £45 posted in the U.K.
  7. Sold a bass to Kert. He came and collected it himself saving me the bother of postage. A nice guy - hopefuly see him again at a South Wales bass bash!
  8. A 2010 CV Jazz - all original except for modified electronics, namely a pair of Nordstrand NJ4's and CTS pots with cloth wiring for an authentic vintage vibe. This is a great sounding Jazz, you'll likely be aware that these are generally well reviewed and respected for offering outstanding value for money. This one is in good condition - there are signs of wear, the bass has some light scratching in various places, but mainly on the rear of the body, the control plate is also a little discoloured in places. The fretboard is lightly scratched in places where a previous owner over-enthusiasticaly cleaned it i'm guessing. Weight - 4.05 KG I will include the original pickups and electronics (all wired up, see photos) in the sale, along with the original finger / thumb rest and knobs - (the original knobs don't fit over the larger CTS shafts). No bag or case but this will be packaged very securely in a guitar box. Collection or trial in Cardiff more than welcome. If someone is interested - I would be willing to negotiate a lower price without the NJ4's installed. Cheers, Graeme
  9. I noticed this bass too! Shame about the pictures - I currently have '90 4 string Dolphin that's just wonderful - never tried a 5 string Dolphin - price is perhaps ambitious but if there's someone who's really after one... they don't come up too often!
  10. What a beauty! I have an '89 4 string version with an identical finish. Very tempting.
  11. I have just completed a trade with Karl and the whole transaction was extremely straight-forward - great communication, great bass, a top bloke. Thanks Karl 😀

  13. 4.15 KG on the digital scales in the bathroom... prob not the most accurate but gives you a ball park figure!
  14. Up for sale or trade, my '95 Fender Jazz (MIJ) 62 RI in Candy Apple Red with original tort guard. This is in 'near mint' condition with a couple of slight blemishes (< 2mm) on the body, difficult to notice. This is overall a very clean example that's completely original. This Jazz plays great, it's setup with a low action, no fret buzz or dead spots and each string resonates evenly (to my ears). Please feel free to message with questions etc. I have some feedback here on BC also. I'm happy to post this however would prefer collection - any trials would be welcome, I'm based in Cardiff. Cheers, Graeme EDIT: For trades, I'm after a p bass but happy to consider anything...
  15. Bought a pair of Nordstrand NJ4 pickups from Alex. The transaction was very smooth. Alex sent the pickups off the following day and they were received well packaged. A nice guy to do business with. Recommended.

  17. By looks of it, that Thumb is earlier than a '92 model. You can identify the year of production by the last two digits of the serial number.
