jay bass

I mainly play using my fingers but for certain songs i need the extra attack sound of a picked bass. when using a pick you do loose some of tonal variation you get with finger playing. i tend to use 2 different patches on my amp, i can dial in some of the finger sounding tones when using a pick without re setting the amps eq all the time..

I Had a Musician MC940 fretless in dark stain (sting Bass) in the mid 80's i part ex it for a korg M1 keyboard. around 1990 it was the best sounding bass i have ever played, been looking for another one as good for years.

The weight of a bass on your shoulder for a 2 hour show is something to consider. i notice a difference afterwards depending on which bass i have used. probably a age thing . i never thought about it in my younger days , , but as i get older it is something i now consider . its not the reviewers opinion its the actual weight of the bass i was interested in.

Looks Great love the red with Tort Scratchplate how much does the bass weigh. The weight seems to be the only negative to Harley Benton basses.on reviews ive looked at. regards Jay

i cant see any mention of bluetooth out on the stagepas just 1 channel 9/10 that recieves audio via bluetooth

I think the bluetooth on the stagepas is to recieve bluetooth audio from external devices , im not sure it transmits any signal out via bluetooth to monitors etc. i would like to know if anyone has used the stagepas successfuly with bluetooth in ear monitors. regards Jay

Hi is this strung through the body or just the bridge as that will make a difference to the amount of silks showing at the tuners end. They definately have more of a shiny look than thomastik la bella or detroit flats. pictures shown are maruszczyk flats on a 57 reissue p bass without the the throughbody stringing.

Check your local college they often run a music college start at grade 1 theory of music and work your way up it will soon start to make more sense, and help with your understanding of intervals , harmonies etc.

Not convinced its genuine would like to see a date stamp on the neck and body does the serial number match up on the fender serial check site https://serialnumberlookup.fender.com/lookup/

I Have the Rumble stage 800 combo and the 2 x 10 ext cab The combo on its own is fine but obviously you get more power with the ext cab if you need it it has all the amp and speaker modeling youl ever need it also has just about every effect pedal you can think of and all these can be edited to your own tastes you can edit and store all the presets you want into different set lists either manualy or via the fender tone app on your mobile/ pc / tab etc so you could realisticly have a different sound for every song saved into a set list. also comes with a nice footswitch , built in tuner etc. every thing you need all in one combo (and its light and portable)

Hi has anyone got a wiring diagram or picture of the control plate wiring my tone pot has stopped working and ive discovered a bare wire that is earthed on the tone pot but is not connected anywhere any ideas thanks jay

can you measure the string gauges Ti G string is 043 most others are 040 or 045
