1. The "common two" are ruining my current band for me, Lead Guitarist too loud all the time and insists on bringing a huge Orange stack to a small practice room, and the singer for singing stupid lyrics during practice, farting down the mic and just generally being a dick, it wont be long before me the drummer and the second guitarist do a runner together....
2. People describe Sadowsky's as Jazzes on Steroids..... how on earth can you describe that beast?!
3. Hi, Not interested in the whole lot *would love them but where on earth would i keep them?!* but i am interested in the following issues if i can have them? PM with cost and postage amounts? 2002 February Dirk Lance 2004 April Ben Kenney Cheers.
4. The beauty of the instrument is people who care know its there, if people don't know its there we don't care. I play bass because i heard it as predominant and distinct sound in my parents music collection *alot of 70s funk and 80's pop* and i just remember wanting to play whatever it was that made that sound, if people don't hear or understand the instrument then thats their bad luck.

6. I like that a lot! a very simple but effective solution! Congrats! Will the adhesive backing effect the wood finish if you ever took it off?
7.
MB1. BUMP!
Thanks! I take it you're a Hartke fan!? i am going to miss it, but my head and cabs have to match!
8. Never fainted... But there was one gig where i was incredibly uncomfortable, my band were playing Portsmouth University and the main band setup differently to my band, i usually stand my drummers snare side and with the guitarist that plays the rhythmic stuff, in this instance i was shifted to the far right miles from the drummer and in ear shot of the twiddly *w***ing on* guitarists Orange rig and his on stage monitor, i had the vocal monitor to my right, i had an incredibly hot lighting rig at head level to my right and i couldn't have my bass rig loud as the temporary stage shook too much *volume on the markbass was 0.7 NOT EVEN 1!!* and the guitar amp mics picked it up!!! worst gig i have played, couldn't hear myself, i was boiling hot *wearing a cardigan too* i forgot my ear plugs, we were being recorded and being broadcasted live on Radio huge pressure and i just didn't want to be there. Gigs like that are best forgotten! heres a pic of that bastard Orange stack, lighting rig, and monitors...... urgh!
9. Fantastic Collection!! You've Owned some real beauties!! I particularly like that 5 string Jazz you sold to a pupil, looks like such a badass! Brilliant!
10. all PM's replied to, price drop to £300 for the pair - £170 for the 2x10 £130 for the 4x10 Cheers.
11. ahhh thought that the white pups may generate some questions, they are indeed just white covers over the exisiting "Duncan Designed" pups, however! i have replaced the white covers with the original black ones as something just wasn't working visually, the new "vintage knobs" remain though! they're just so much cooler than the stock chrome ones.
12. I'm based in just outside of Portsmouth at the moment mate, if you're interested drop me a PM. Cheers.
13. I know i keep showing them! but i'm very proud of these three girls. and I can't recommend the Squire enough! my god it plays well! Full of funk!
14. Wow the new Pearloid plate is stunning!!
15.
The drummer from Reuben worked in Debenhams in Guildford while they were still going.
Reuben took me and my mate out for a pub lunch when we met them in Newcastle, hands down the nicest guys you could want to meet, they had what they called "Reuben Money" to spend and bought us lunch! Likewise i was in Virgin in New York *as you do* and i saw Talena Atfield of Kittie working there while the band were off tour.....
16. When my band played with "Baddies", "The Coronas" and "Idiosync" every single one of the bands had taken out a loan £18,000 - £24,000 and were touring the country on that, every band had a "mate" who acted as a driver, financial manager, roadie, booking agent etc and got a very small wage from that, guess if you want to get around you need to spend money. Rock Sound magazine champions bands like This will destroy you, and sponsers them on their tours in the UK for coming over to play, 65 Days of static again huge in Rock Sound, have been DIY'ing their records for the past 12 years and that will definitely keep costs down, but it will in no way be a glamorous lifestyle! Don't forget the bands main income of Merch sold at shows, thats how a band will really fund their night in a travel lodge.

19.
a 9v battery should last 100's of hours, or at least a lot longer than you need. Pop a new one in and don't worry
The 9 Volt battery in my Stage II lasted a whole year with me actively recording and gigging with it, it was an energiser lithium and i have used them religiously since!
20.
"as it has been looked after and is in superb condition" I thought he said Mark King had played it?
Haha,
21. Love the knobs on that *if i can actually get away with saying that!*
22. Hey Karl, Just wondering are those prices including postage? Cheers.
