NBD incoming. Wunjos' have done me a deal on an SUB Stingray in Black and Maple. I wanted the stock strings replaced and fitted with Ernie Ball regular slinkies, a gig bag and a complete setup for only £299. I'm a happy Hobbayne.

I used my brand new Nate Mendel at a gig recently and didnt realise the Quarter pounder pickups made such a difference to the sound. Also gigged a new Thunderbird but its narrow nut width caught me out. Missed a few notes

What (If any) are the advantages of these over a Vox Amplug? Anyone use one?

There used to be a basschatter called Milty who had his own bass string website. He no longer contributes to this forum (wonder why?) Can any one tell me what the site was called and if its still trading?
