1. There is is a photo somewhere of Kate fondling a Fender Jazz Bass floating about on t' interweb
2. Bloody hell! I,m gonna have nightmares now!
3. I put some SPB1's in an old Korean Squier. It was a bugger to fit though, as the cut out in the wood was not deep enough. After a bit of trial and error managed to get it to fit in the shallow hole without taking a chisel to it, and doing some Mark D Philips improvements on it.
4. I dont think you can. Its moderators who do that.
5. I believe the winky eye in Petes post means it is not meant to be taken seriously.
6. I hear he bought a cricket bat for a tenner, and after some of his ..er... alterations, its now worth £36.00
7. Lots of chorus and play high up the G string while playing the melody line. Simples.
8. Blimey! I forgot about this. Unfortunately, It,ll cost more to post than its actually worth.
9. I used to have an American Telecaster in C A R. Best 6 string I ever had, but I sold it when I found out I could get more gigging work as a bass player.

11. I,m sure this wont do the equipment any good either. I,m quite particular with my stuff, and its always powered up and powered down by the correct switch. Not by cutting the power off.
12.
I buy Gould Gothic guitars brand new from Chase for £90 and after my work I sell them for £160... which they easily deserve.
13. I would be very suspicious of buying anything from someone who has just registered as a member, without even an introduction. All the things I have bought on here have been from established members who have built up a reputation. Just my 2 cents worth.
14. I was told my BP was too high and to lose some weight. The doc said only 30 mins exercise a day, no need to go mad, and I have lost a stone in a month without puffing and wheezing in the gym.
15. I haven't tried these, but I have tried the E B coated super Slinkies. I put the on the MIM Precision I got from Lojo, and am very impressed. I can see what you mean about the feel of the strings to the touch, but I actually prefer it! Still, horses for courses.
16. Well, I have to agree with Lonnie Donegan, My chewing gum definitely DID lose its flavour on the bedpost overnight!!
17. Just me and you blue-jay? Will check out Jump 66 and Alistair James. Weathers looking good, should be a good day out.
18. Update - Well, I have had these on my Fender P for a coupla weeks now and am very impressed Obviously not had these on nearly long enough to comment on their longevity but nice and easy on the fingers and a nice full tone, and very easy to play finger-style, 8 to the bar.
19. No, sorry. This has gone - To me actually
20. The Jam - Start Beatles - Come Together
21. The weathers looking good for the weekend, and even better for the upcoming week! Plus I am not gigging this weekend and Mrs Hobbayne's parents are down for the day, so what better excuse to get out of the house.
22. I take it the body has been stripped back to the bare wood?
23. No one going to this then? Oh good! more beer for me then!!
24. I have an old Squier P bass that I have tarted up with a tort guard and some chrome covers. I like it, it looks almost pukka at quick glance!
