4.

I know......I've been building up to it for months, you know how much I adore this bass.
 5. This beauty was my main bass, but I am selling it due to returning to 4 string basses, which I find easier to play these days because of a wrist injury. As a result I haven't touched this since buying Molan's Sadowsky Will Lee. Ebony fingerboard AAA quilted maple on ash Cherry burst finish EMG 40J pickups Black hardware Built February 1996 Very good condition, bar a couple of minor surface dings and some playing wear on the neck and head stock. was £1975 now with firm and final price reduction to * £1800* including Sadowsky case and shipping in UK. 7. I use the TC RH450, and it can do classic and punchy using a touch of tubetone, along with 2 Bergantino AE112 cabs. That way you could use one cab for small gigs and rehearsals. There are a few TC's and various 112 cabs about second hand now.

 10.
Don't know for sure, but here's some suggestions: Small 'boutique' company. They're the most solid, well-built cabs I've ever used. IMO They're the best sounding cabs I've ever used. They have a great reputation, so people are prepared to pay a premium.
Spot on..... In my experience I agree on all points, AE112's in my case..... a big investment but value for money. I'm not an electronics expert but I know what sounds good for me.

 17.
I just picked up a one of a kind Matamp 4x6 yesterday, bought it for home practice and potentially studio work. It still amazes me that no matter what Matamp gear I plug into my tone is always there even on something as small as this cab. I can get crappy mobile phone pics tonight if anyone wants. Cheers
Of course.......yes please
 18.
Maybe. But after all, blues is a state of mind rather than a strict style of music. IMO of course.
Absolutely....... good point.
 19. I think the venue and audience preference has to dictate how diluted the 'Blues' material becomes. Your average town centre pub, unless it's a Blues venue would probably require Soul/Blues (the Commitments/ Blues brothers take) However if you tried too many classic soul re- hashed songs at a Blues festival you may come a cropper.
 20. Happy new year Dave and thanks for posting the vid. I haven't got the best memory in the world, but I'm not bad on faces, and I recognise the sax player from the 'Blues Boys', who played our northern Colne blues festival several times. I saw them in the bar at the Municipal hall, and he also played some tasty guitar on a home made looking flying V. Cameron
 21.
What do they call the finish of the vinyl? Very nice, by the way
IIRC that vinyl finish is called Reptile, cheers.
