1.
Is this Cam as in Cam the carpet fitter man ?? If so then yup, heard good things about this fella.
That's me..... thanks chaps
2. Reluctant sale due to back problems......one immaculate Ampeg classic Anniversary, just over 2 years old hardly used. Would pass as brand new. Based in North West Lancashire. £750
3. Fabulous Thunderbirds, 3 Kings, Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters, Albert Collins, Duke Robillard. I would learn as much of their material as possible and you will have a stock of tasty blues bass lines. Learn Stormy Monday, Need your love so bad etc. Slow blues bass lines, swings and shuffles are in abundance on any albums by the above. Johnny B Gayden (Albert Collins )Tommy Shannon (Stevie Ray Vaughan), are the two blues bass players that rule the roost IMHO.
4. Very nice Joe, look forward to seeing your Sadowsky and I know someone else with a Dalek signature who is a fan too.
5.
Were they 350w at 8 ohms? - I'm well out of touch - any idea what a re-cone costs these days and where to get it done?
350watts @ 8 ohms, no idea on re - coning or costs I'm afraid, to be honest the new drivers sound as good as the old ones I can't tell any difference.
6.
Thanks for the extra info - I don't suppose you kept the old drivers did you? At 4ohms my amp is pushing a healthy 600w so it will probably rip these apart (!) Shame - it's a very nice looking cab !
No worries, I have the old drivers somewhere one needs re coning but the other is fine. We decided to replace both.
7. Here are the photo's as requested by bassmanc
8.
Do you have pics and measurements - and what's the power rating now at 4 ohms?
Tha cab is as new apart from a few scuffs on plastic corners, which probably wouldn't show up on a photo. 23"w x 19.5"h x 18.5" d If I remember correctly the chap at Pro Line audio in Warrington told me it would be rated at 350 watts, when he installed the drivers. You are more than welcome to inspect and try out the cab. More details on the website below www.eden-electronics.com
9. One Eden 2x10 XLT cab was 8 ohm, had new Eminence delta drivers fitted a couple of years ago and decided to change to 4 ohm. Barely used it since, as I now have a 212 cab. It is in excellent condition, sounds great, padded cover included. Collection from Preston Lancs, or meet up etc. I am not sure what these go for, so thought offers in the region of £290.00
10. Sorry to hear that Al Email sent regarding Blues band, will keep my ears to the ground.

12. I have the Sunn 300t, which in my opinion is much more versatile than most other valve heads. It has the ability to access different sounds/ graphic eq via the foot switch, I prefer it to Ampeg valve heads having used SVT 2 and Classic series amps. I am not using mine at the moment (not getting any younger), opting for a lighter hybrid Eden set up due to back problems. They are a bit of a beast.... heavy and bulky.
13. I am on my 3rd Eden head, which is a WT 550. Never had a single reliability problem, the 550 goes down to 2ohms so more speaker combinations available. I also agree with the Hartke suggestions, superb amps and great value.
14.
Our very own wayne58 owns that bass now, and another, new modern which is very nice indeed. Convinced me to order one virtually the same!
Joe actually my Cherryburst 24 has an ebony board and I got it from the Gallery. Sadowsky NYC basses are awesome, never tried the Metro range yet.
15. Lee, yes the WT550 is a brilliant amp, but the access to the pre amp valve could have been designed much better in my opinion. I have a Tech in Lancs who has serviced my 550 if you need his number just PM me. Good luck
16.
in excellent condition, just over a year old and comes with a rockbag carry bag worth about £30. used mostly as a practice amp, and is in imaculate condition. selling to fund other bass toys... £310 Posted with the Rockbag
PM sent

18. Now sold to Mr Kiwi, with thanks...... don't worry you won't regret it.
19. Alan if you like the vintage look have you tried any of the Sadowsky jazzes yet? You are welcome to try my standard 4, it has the vintage tone control which is very useful. This comes standard with the NYC model. Good luck with the sale of your DD, nice bass.
20.
The neck profiles are totally different. For a start the Sadowsky has 19mm string spacing. I think this is an important point about string spacing and which suits your playing style/ preference. Personally I couldn't get on with the Lakland 55-02 and much prefer the Sadowsky NYC modern 24 fr. ( never tried the Metros)
