I would highly recommend going for a Sadowsky, they are versatile, light weight with great tone and have an exceptionally good on board pre amp. Everyone has their own preferences, but I own a Sadowsky 4 string jazz and play in 3 very different bands....from Blues, R&B to original Americana/country and having used Sandbergs, Fenders etc find they work best for me.

No cash, and I don't think you'd want a trade.
Thanks, it sounds great too, sorry I'm not really looking for a trade though.

Here's another victim of my cull to fund a vintage jazz. The Gibson SG supreme bass is 30.5" scale, and was the first Gibson guitar of the week series in 2007, from a limited run of 400. I bought this from Will (2x18) on this forum and it has made a couple of rehearsals but has never been gigged by me, so is still in excellent condition, with no issues. Will upgraded the bridge to a fully adjustable Hipshot one, and I still have the original which will be included. It comes with the original plush lined immaculate Gibson case and is currently strung with Thomastik flats. BODY Top Species: AAA Maple Neck Species: Mahogany Profile: Rounded Bass Peghead Pitch: 10 FINGERBOARD Species: Rosewood Scale Length: 30 1/2" Number of Frets: 20 Nut Width: 1.695" Inlays: Trapezoid HARDWARE Plating Finish: Chrome Bridge: Three-way Adjustable Knobs: Black Speed Tuners: Schallers ELECTRONICS Neck Pickups: Vintage-style TB Plus bass humbucker Bridge Pickups: Bass Mini-humbucker Controls: Two volume, one tone OTHER Strings: .045, 065., .08., .100 gauge CASE Case Interior: White Plush Case Exterior: Black Hardshell Case Silkscreen: Silver 'Gibson USA' I'm Based in Preston Lancashire, and am looking for £825 collected, or I can deliver/ meet up on motorway network.
OMG that is just stunning!!being 40J does that mean the EMGS are single coil not humbuckers? i love it,id say good luck withthe sale but you wont need it
Thanks for that, I know they sound great, very clean and crisp with quite a prominent mid range....very nice. The Sadowsky preamp gives you good control too. here is some info from EMG http://www.emgpickups.com/products/index/119/28/2

Really nice light 1977 Fender Precision In very good condition, sounds and plays great with no issues. All original to the best of my knowledge, I have not dismantled to verify all component dates but inspection is welcome before purchase. Weighs 8lbs 4 oz on my digital scales, the dark line on the back of the body is in the wood grain. I will include a generic non Fender case as I don't have the original, and I'm afraid it has the chrome bridge cover only. I am looking for £1350 collection preferred from Preston lancs, or I could deliver within reason. Sorry guys, but the only trades acceptable would be on pre CBS Fender basses with cash adjustment from me
