10.
For distortion you can't go wrong with either the EHX Big Muff or the slightly cheaper BOSS ODB-3. I have the boss, purely because I didn't have that much money when purchasing my first pedal. It's lasted over a year with gigging and does almost everything I want it to. The only real issue is that it doesn't hold the bottom end as nicely as i'd hoped. However I also run a SYB-5 through it, which increases the level a fair bit anyway.
it has a wet dry blend AND a bass boost eq
11. my board as it stands now, and will do for a while i think, everythin i need is on there, includin my favourite fuzz of all time which i FINALLY managed to find n buy again (i had one and sold about this time last year coz of no rent money!) Brilliant
12. annnnnnnnnd there we go
13. ye but thats sentimental, not because the bass is actually worth that much in cash to you for someone to BUY one for £2700, they either have serious idle wannabe disease, or they have far too much money, which they must have got from selling their common sense...
14.
Hi, Paid a visit to my local music shop last week and saw the guy who owns it who is a fountain of bass knowledge and he had advised that I should look at achieve about £1,300 for the Thumb and £600 for the Ken Smith. Hope that helps. Mark
il warn you about the thumb, you will struggle, as with the stingray the market is on its arse
Another Bump... Will probably withdraw from sale shortly as there seems to be a distinct lack of interest in this bass.Could be wrong time with Euro versus Sterling..but I think it is a fair price ..Take Care,Mick.
tbf i think the main reason your struggling is because the neck looks awful, are you sure it cannot be cleaned any better than that??? just doesnt look right
21. nah i think he'l sell it, he loves his pink eagle
22. pm'd
23. i can't see how it can be justified to pay over 2k for one really, doesnt a g&l bass get a similar tone?? cant remember the model
