New Zoom B3

Yup, the prices they still are second hand it is still worth buying new for the warranty and such. They have come down to £109 in the UK, tempted to buy but also wondering when Zoom will release the new version for bass?
2. Sorry matey! I'm all ears for trades
3. Bought this recently on the forum, fantastic filter and really squelchy, particularly when you feed an additional dry signal into the Envelope jack. In fact, I haven't used it any other way. Basically, using the envelope jack allows you to trigger the filter with a clean signal but have the filter effect the signal feeding the input. Use a splitter cable or a pedal with a parallel out to do this, however it obviously works very well with the brown dog. Really, really cool! Very good condition with box and manual. Will sell for the same bargainous price of £SOLD including next day delivery
4.
if it had a microphone ring would it not also have a microphone? also if that was the case you would have sound in one ear and not the other
An in-line microphone, very common these days due to smartphones e.t.c. They function as normal headphones normally, but they struggle with mono jacks.
5.
Anyone had problems getting stereo phones to work in a mono socket, for example an amp? I've got Behringer phones with the dual size stereo jack, and when using as 1/4" or the smaller size I have to fiddle around and get the plug an exactly the right position for them to work, ie they don't work when pushed right in and have to be sort of halfway in to work. Perhaps the phone are rubbish, they weren't expensive but it would still be nice if they worked ok. Thanks Phil
Does it have a microphone ring, too? If so, this isn't Behringer QC, it just has a plug that is not made to work with mono outputs
6. Up for sale I have a Tech 21 VT Bass DI. Used only at home on a pedalboard, not been stood on with anything but socks! An excellent pedal that needs no introduction. Comes with it's tin and manual. Bit of velcro on the bottom of the pedal, happy to remove if necessary, but its in mint condition. I'll take a photo if needed, but it looks exactly like this: £SOLD shipped, trades very much welcome, hit me
7. Side LEDs are cool and useful, but personally I don't think front LEDS are useful for anything but show. Does anyone really look at the front of the fretboard and look for markers to help them play? I don't, but then again I guess some people might!
8. Gorgeous bass, mate. I don't have one I'm afraid, but £16 shipped from thomann isn't too bad, at least you will have other tuner spares there too
9. Used to be mine, this Superb example of a Thumb, haven't come across a better once since. GLWTS!
10. GAS for a fretless well and truly ignited! This bass looks and sounds fantastic!
11. Never knew this existed until I saw it in the bass Porn thread, haven't seen one since! Rare and awesome bass!
12. Its a stunning bass buddy, congrats
13.
i recently advertised a bass and paid the £20 yearly fee to advertise this, now its no longer able to be found on my contents or on the basses for sale forum.. whats going on?
There is a forum bug, the My Content tab does not work correctly I'm afraid. Is the thread above the one you refer to? If so, hopefully this is resolved for you
14.
Footswitch is high to allow room for a battery, knobs are low to allow top-mounted jacks. Just a bad combination of features is all. Si
You would have thought they would have slotted the battery in sideways at the edge, rather than taking all that room. I wonder how long it will be before batteries are completely fazed out....
15. Oh that's so tragic! At least the seller accepted responsibility and took it back.
16.
I don't think they particularly lit many peoples fires. The problem I had with them, on a few of the models, is the proximity of the footswitch to the knobs. The bearded lady fuzz for example, stupid close, totally not a gigable pedal. Si
Just checked that, what an awful design! Just seems pointless too, I can't imagine there is any innards below that switch, looks like it was put there for aesthetic reasons?
17.
My dream bass. I actually contacted Wal basses recently for a price on a lefty MK1 build. The price quoted was the same for new. After paying an initial deposit the wait is about a year but you get to choose body wood facings, fingerboard wood and even fret metal.
How recently? MK1 prices start at £4050, so your getting a sizeable saving here straight off. Current wait is about 20 months according to the website. Gorgeous bass at a great price, GLWTS!
18.
If you don't mind, where did you get the ramp? I'm considering one for my SR605!
A Hungarian luthier by the sounds of things This is stunning, been tempted every time one has popped up in the classifieds here, must be one of the best value basses out there at the moment.
19. Well, that shouldn't have took me more than one guess to get! I think I am used to seeing the new Streamers with the coloured oil finish that is now only applied to the body wings so this looked normal until it twigged haha! Looks a nice refin! It wouldn't appear the finish has had much of an impact on tone; based on the Bass Direct video it sounds pretty much identical to my '91 SSII
20. Transparant gloss on the neck?
