So, it pains me to offer this back up for sale. I am prone to changing my mind and will continue fiddling with my setup to see if the bass will work for me after all! Stunning high spec instrument and a fantastic player. Would be around £3300 new with all the extras. Has been set up by me with D'Addario Nickel 40-100 strings with a low action. Super lightweight at a shade over 8lb. Bass is in mint condition. Please note this is a full blown custom model and not one of the cheaper standard series basses.     D'addario Flexsteels - superb strings but I prefer Nickel on my Roscoe so no need for them now. They do not do a 40-125 Flexsteels set as standard, so this set is made up of the 4 string 40-95 set and a seperately purchased Flexsteel .125 B. So, 40 - 60 - 75 - 95 - 125. They are cut to fit a 35 inch scale roscoe 3 x 2 headstock with 3 winds, so I'm willing to guarantee these will fit all 34 inch scale instrument and the majority of 35 inch. Dingwall, probably not They have about 30 minutes use, so basically new. £22 shipped, which is less than the cost of the 4 string set alone from most retailers NB the .125 is not Tapered, contrary to the image!

    Well, the ribbon figured Rosewood billet has now been split, and my god was the inside a treat! Anyone ever see two-tone rosewood before?? I can't wait to see this carved!

    I nearly bought yours when you were selling it This is my second Roscoe, I think the Barts work really well for the Roscoe tone, they are not my usual choice of pickup by any means. Easy enough to change if needs be, we'll see how I get on with them

    Okay, so a few updates! We have gone for the dual Nordstrand Bigman pickups with a pretty cool electrics package if its possible, more details on that if it happens! Change of neck, Chris has got some superb 'Ribbon' figured Indian Rosewood so I have opted for this as opposed to all-claro. Here is the rosewood: Final position of the Ziricote board: and here is the body, all glued up and ready for final routing/sanding and oiling!

    Stunning mate, fingerboard is ace. Would love to hear any sound samples? Tool comment makes it sound like it is Wal'y, however my ACG (standard coil pickups) was quite a different animal. The newer preamp model sounds very good as well!

    Now the sun is out and I have been able to get the camera out, time to introduce my new bit of wood! A beautiful 2011 Roscoe LG Custom/3005. Swamp Ash body, Buckeye Burl top and headstock, Birdseye Maple board and Maple/Wenge/Maple neck, with Roscoe Barts and Aguilar OBP-3 Pre.

[/quote] Strictly speaking, Thomann do no business with Parcelforce at all. They exclusively use DHL, who hand over to the Royal Mail and Parcelforce when passing into our country. I am sure Thomann will take an interest, but realistically you are going to need to complain direct to Parcelforce.

    I have a original Darkglass B3K for sale, the first version handmade by Doug before they went over the US. A collectors item one day? Would love to keep it, but I need cash so Ill settle for just a B7K! Great condition, couple of scratches on the knobs but otherwise fine, and works perfectly. £145.
