1. Overall length of bass is 46" (117cms) nut width 42mm, the neck has a very slim feel along the whole length and I'd say the profile is a shallow D. Hope that helps. It's a very easy to play bass with a very low action and the intonation is spot on thanks to the adjustable bridge - one saddle per string with plenty of adjustment unlike some semi acoustics.

10.
Just picked up a sunburst one of these today, had a starfire special guitar for years and they're really decent instruments. Can't wait to rehearse mine tomorrow, and given the dosh I'd pick this one up too. Great price.
Thanks it's a lovely bass but superfluous to my needs unfortunately.
11. I like it, what's the weight?

Some Basschatters go out of their way to be helpful and Will is one of them. We did a good deal and had a long chat about all things bass. Pleasure to meet and trade with you Will. Cheers, Ash

Reduced to £69 bump!
14. Here you go so this makes it the DP145? I didn't know there was a difference I actually thought they'd just remarketed! Thanks for pointing it out.
15. I was going to use two of these on a Gibson rebuild but have decided to go for the classic combination of one of these and a mini humbucker. This is in excellent condition a very punchy sounding take on the old school Gibson 'woofer'. UK postage included.
16. This is a DeArmond Starfire reissue from when Fender bought Guild out in the 90s - it's a Korean made bass with US made pickups. The quality is superb certainly up there with the Epiphone Rivoli reissues of the time and contemporary semi acoustics like the Fender Coronado series. The finish is excellent, no dings or construction flaws. Neck is straight with lots of life in the frets, cosmetically there is slight peeling to the chrome on the bridge pickup. It's a short scale bass so very easy to play, it's strung with flats and the action is super low. The bass comes with a very nice rectangular case. I'd prefer pickup on this but happy to negotiate postage within the UK.
17. The mic functions as it should and sounds great. The mesh has been replaced and the body has paint wear from the many gigs it has done! Price includes UK postage.

Hi it seems to fatten the bass up - I'm not really into effects so it's a bit lost on me but it certainly gives it some punch!

20. I have the 500 and its ample for all the gigs I do - pubs, relatively big stages, outdoor festivals, etc. it's the 500 frame and I have the valve pre and classic MB eq. Great amps, if you need the solid state preamp I have one going spare!
21. I use a large keyboard bag for mine - it's a custom V with a Gibson Grabber neck so very long. I'm sure I've seen Epi V bags though - GAK?
22. Under that rusty grill is a Hurricane waiting to be nurtured
23. Yep same here I was going to have a go and then work got in the way and then....oh well...£400 extra...I think not.
