I don't think that many of us have a set of pups that would be a straight fit in our parts box.
That and a decent preamp stop this being an amazing bargain.
I have a couple of white basses...a short scale Ray and a Yamaha BBG5s.
I bought a white pickup cover for the Ray only to find it's a sealed unit. Law of the Sod.
Agree...I had one which was surprisingly good considering they change hands for silly money.
I have a couple of BBG5S...again great basses for not much.

I bought a Tangelwood electro acoustic recently - I know, I'll never use it or play it regularly but it was local.
It plays fine above the 12th but the intonation is out which is noticeable higher up.
Also the action could do with being lower.
Is it a matter of sanding down the plastic bridge or is it more complicated?
