  1. Radio Africa - Latin Quarter
  2. All the girls in my year at school had a thing for the Bay City Rollers when I was a kid. They were everywhere for a while...then along came The Sex Pistols... RIP Lest we forget..
  3. I have a couple of dual bags - they rarely get used currently. Would recommend both/either https://www.amazon.co.uk/RITTER-BASS-GUITAR-RCG700-9-B-BLACK/dp/B002OGVZDY and one of these: https://www.free-scores.com/buy/double-housse-nylon-ibanez-idbb5-pour-basses-electriques-70196
  4. For £10.49 that would be a good buy for a Level 42 fan.
  5. Ten years ago £700 would have been a market value, not a bargain which is what most of us are after. Still, if it feels right it's worth every penny.
  6. For those with the £3k to buy a new MM wouldn't you be better "investing" in the earliest model you could find? Vintage MMs are selling for about that currently.
  7. Sweets for my sweet - The Searchers
  8. The Green, Green Grass of home - Tom (The Voice) Jones
  9. I haven't had a chance to listen to the tracks yet... Q: Are you a bit of a perfectionist by nature? If you made the changes you want to the tracks would other band members be happy with those changes?
  10. I struggle with heavy gauge strings so it's an absolute pleasure when I can find a light set of strings for a good price. Managed to find a stockist of Fender 7250 -5L (40-115 5 strings) for £17 in the UK. https://www.eesmusic.co.uk/ 18-19 Brookhouse Business Park, Brunel Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP2 0EF I rarely save a seller - not so with this shop - will be checking his stock on a regular basis. Ring the seller at 01473 217480

  16. That isn't this/my amp on the Reverb site - Italy I believe(?).. New pics added.
  17. For those who don't know Terry's work he has repaired a couple of broken headstocks for me - so well you had to look for the repair! Terry is also a member here - @nosbig
  18. All sound advice from the members above - you can't go wrong with an Ashdown. Equipment is like cars - you'll definitely take a financial hit buying new - especially when you see nearly new gear changing hands for hundreds of pounds less. Keep your eyes on the market place (try not to buy everything you like) for the bargain you're looking for - there will be at least one. Buying used means you'll get more for your money. Good luck with your hunt.
  19. Which type of scooter??? Love the work on the bass - certainly setting yourself a high bar for the next build though.
  20. Summer in the city - Lovin Spoonful
  21. Generic, I think...burgundy tolex with grills.
  22. Shaft - Isaac Hayes
  23. Like your thinking....👍
  24. I like how the lines on the lower body flow into each other. Personally I would shorten the lower horn to the same point as the end of the fretboard. I know this is quite significant but I'm not a fan of long lower horns. Expect a letter from Ernie Ball's lawyers - you know they have copyrighted the 3+1 headstock design - No, really.
  25. He's Misstra Know-it-all - Stevie Wonder
