Yep Jaco was an absolute genius with a 4 string - imagine what he could have done had he turned his hand to 6 string. I think if Jaco had lived most of us would have given up years ago with disillusionment.

I don't have big hands - for me it's about pivoting off the thumb. I have a 7 fret stretch that way (not that I'd want to play like that though.

I was chatting with @Machines earlier about scoring a bargain. We both had - though his was the better score, I'd say. I tend to use eBay, Gumtree, Preloved, Cash Converters, Cash Generators and Reverb. Only recently started using FB - check these out regularly and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for - people are skint at the moment so liquidating their assets. Keep looking there is something out there for you.

Well let's see.... He has the choice of 4,5, or even 6 strings...Fretless, fretted, slanted frets...fitted with roundwounds, flatwounds or tapewounds... Needless to say you've probably put a strain on his bank balance and, in the not too distant future, his long term relationship. They'll probably name you in divorce proceedings. Way to go... 😉😉
