1. Bump-de-bump!! Tokai bought and paid for. Everything else still very much available.
  2. Sorry Dood, I just can't stop giggling at the sight of the F1 atop the 610. I suppose most other people laugh too... until you switch on, then it's over!

    Power Amps

I've got a Peavey PV2600 which is plenty loud enough. For sale here actually!! Played a gig with it and my old Bass Pod Live into my 810 when my SVT was in for a service. Lots of grunt and clarity.

  5. Another person with 'full stop and capital letter' phobia!! LOL! Definately not a genuine Stingray in the pic (enlarge the pic and shake your head violently from side to side.... perfect focus!!), wrong shape bridge. £850? Ripped off I think!!
  6. Ok, Tokai is sold pending payment. Everything else still available.
  7. Ok, all emails replied to... nothing 100% sold as yet but solid interest in the 30th, the Tokai and the Electro-acoustic bass. Andy, I'm based in Brandon, in Suffolk, about 120 miles from you. Just checked the Tokai and it is passive bolt on. Real punchy in the mids!!
  8.
Is that a set neck tokai or bolt?
It's hanging up at work at the moment so I'll let you know tomorrow for sure. AFAICR it's bolted..... or maybe thru!!
  9. Funny, I thought I was logged onto basschat.co.uk.... not 'fretw***erswibble.com'
  10. I would prefer collection but if you're willing to pay for postage and packaging then by all means!
  11.
Collected from where ?
Brandon, in Suffolk.
  12. I've got a complete Mac Logic studio coming very soon and need to finance this so offloading my baby and lots of other stuff. First up..... Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 30th Anniversary model. Such a killer bass it deserves to be played and played well!! Solid mahogany body with strings thru design. Single H model. Lovely birdseye maple neck, rosewood board all finished in transparent crimson. Comes with a plush black velevet lined oxblood case with very minor marks. Only 783 of these made so if looked after it will only increase in value. I can't find a single mark on this thing and only rated it 9.9/10 as it's not new. £870.00 no offers. SOLD - FULL PAYMENT PENDING AS OF 26/03/08 All other basses and amps in the above pictures are NOT for sale. An Ovation Applause electro-acoustic bass. Blemish in the picture is in the wood grain and not a stain. I'll sling a new set of strings on it if someone wants to collect. £90.00 collected. Tanglewood Odyssey 6 string electro-acoustic guitar in trans cherry finish. One small (one inch) crack in finish at join of neck which doesn't affect the play. £80.00 collected. Black finish. Hardly played £100.00 collected Peavey Hi-sys (?) pa speakers. Currently stored in my garage. Consists of 15" tops and 15" subs (pair of each). Black Widow loaded. Tatty and well used but get some carpet glue and run a hoover over them, they should scrub up nice. Ran the PV2600 through them and they coped admirably. To be honest.... not sure if all drivers work but just looking to offload so how about £200.00 including poles. Pair of non descript generic cabs each loaded with 15" driver, horn and 2" driver. Again, drove these with the XR800F with no issues. £60.00 the pair collected Set of trident speaker poles. £20.00 collected Epiphone Dot Studio guitar in white. Rosewood board. Lovely condition. Bought new for £220 one year ago. £120.00 collected. Edit: I Also have an old 4x12 cab which needs some loving attention, though all the drivers still work. It's a bit of a beast but handles bass frequencies beautifully. £50.00 collected
  13.
That's Ron Wood on bass.
There you go then.... trust the bloody banjo players!!
  14.
Nice one Buzz and Toasted. Half a set up and a set of strings is better than a kick in the teeth! Hopefully we might get a few more people chip in and he can get the D and G strings set up as well! Paul.
Got plenty of the wife's g strings for sale.... all be it on an entirely different website!!! Seriously, whilst I applaud the token generousity of the regular (new and not so new) users of this forum... 'Buyer beware' does spring to mind as you have romantically quoted. I do have a spare 'Kay' should it need a loving home, though! (only kidding.... count me in for a £10)
  15.
Ronnie Lane on Maggie May. Still a class bass line though.
No mistake............ just played it like that so he could f*** it up for everyone else!!!
  16.
Mr. my life is brilliant, my life is brilliant Blunt! surely couldn't have been right could it?!?..... apart from the fact that the intro's far too long as it is, with or without a spurious line, I'm fairly sure the opening line should've been "my life is pointless, my life is pointless"
Was just going to post this! Beat me to it!! (though did think he said 'My life is pure' ) *EDIT: sang 'My love is pure' as second line........... I think!!*
  17. Turned up for a gig without my bass once!
  18.
Looks like shill bidding to me.
Yep... check the past feedback and there are several sales between the same four or five e-bayers.

    Markbass ?

I have a LMK with two cabs, a 15" and the 102P Traveller. Very clean sound to which you can dial in all you need. For rehearsals I just take the head, the 102P and my guitar... one trip from car and set up in under 3 minutes.
  20. Ok, own up.... who popped a fresh brain into The BBC??? Only joking! Liked your humour before, if a little risque, but this is fantastic!! Brilliant debate from you Sir and long may it continue!!
  21. Personally, I would house it in a 6U rack allowing 1U top and bottom for ventilation. My old Pro 2 was racked this way and only foam padded on the corners as they are notorious for overheating.
  22.
What's swiss Tony?
35 seconds in......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMLrqpz7OsE

  25.
Well they say that opposites attract and I must admit.... I'm finding you so God-Dam hot right now!!
Be afraid...... be VERY afraid!!!
