1. I still think you should have a word with the guitarist, because if he hadn't given them his work email they couldn't send a "cancellation" there.

4. Last set now sold, thanks folks (I am keeping a set for my own use - if they are not my thing I might put those up later).
5. No attribution, but "listing at a low price" of $600... right. Conman.
6. phew... :wipes brow in relief:
7. I suppose the seller is trying to build up a nest egg.
8.
I have [s]five[/s] [s]three[/s] [s]two[/s] a new and unopened set of D'Addario EXL180 nickel roundwounds for sale (0.35 0.55 0.75 0.95). I'll take pics if you like, but they are new unused strings, so there's not much to say. £12.50 per set, posted[s]; postage reduced if several sets are bought[/s].
9. Start with an Ibanez 6-string? Something like an SR506.
10.
Could be a mad scramble to buy it.
You think people will want to get it into their clutches?
11. I'd probably cross the road to avoid that. I'm not sure if it would work though.
12.
These puns are paltry.
They're worse than that. Some of them are absolutely fowl.
13. I had a five-string version of this. Fab, and well underpriced. If I was still playing fives I'd have kept it. Sadly I have no space or cash for this one...
14. I doubt if the pups (and knobs!) are original, but that's not surprising. The headstock looks like an early Ibanez, but I don't think it's quite right? I defer to the people who actually know...
15.
Aye. Couldn't say when they changed though. The reissue will definitely be 35" scale though, whenever it appears.
Thanks KB. Pretty sure mine is one of the early ones - it ate batteries, till I trashed the wiring by accident (on about the tenth battery in three months) and had to patch it. That seemed to sort it out.
16. Saw Billy Bragg with Robyn Hitchcock supporting there, must be 25 years ago. Great evening
17.
Libraries great places. My mum was librarian as well. Political point: enjoy them while they still exist, austerity 2 / 3 / 4 ? is on the way.
This.
18.
Great bass, no doubt about it. Sounds & plays the same as the US version albeit 34" instead of 35"
Were there two versions? My Cirrus BXP is 35"...
19. Usual weekend bump.
20.
Perhaps his name is Lewis, and he was born in Clapham... out on the windy common, that night he's not forgotten...
Congratulations on squeezing that one in...
