  1. A new one: https://neuro.sourceaudio.net/preset/EM9u3aTuWk
  2. I don’t think the C4 makes the Future Impact redundant by any means. Granted, C4 does stuff does stuff the FI can’t do but the same is very much true the other way around.
  3. Glad it fixed it. Could you record a clip of the problem you're trying to describe? It will be easier to hear.
  4. My first stab at the sequencers:
  5. This too. In fact I’m awaiting the new firmware as I’m going to be beta testing it.
  6. Disaster area make products which do this. MIDI Ghost I believe it is called.
  7. I am not too familiar with Mac usage. Have you changed any settings such as whether the Mac only allows apps from the App Store to run? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the editor? Other than that @Andras Szalay might be able to help, either directly or via Zsolt Rammer who wrote the editor. Or you could try emailing Panda directly or via their website: http://www.panda-audio.com/
  8. The tempo can be programmed to one of the assignable knobs if you don’t want to use MIDI clock but want to be able to change tempo easily.
  9. Partly, yes. Having it on a top means people are more likely to try it out. Having said that, the sequencer and arpeggiator of my Subsequent 37 are on the panel but I’ve barely used them as they aren’t features I’m that bothered about. The same goes for the C4 - I’ve barely used those features yet. It is pretty good though with a range of preset patterns and one programmable pattern. It doesn’t (currently) have the ability to program rests though nor have a swing function.
  10. Have you downloaded the latest editor v2.20 and latest firmware v2.22? What happens when you try to open the editor without connecting the UM-ONE to the Mac? Is your UM-One set to “computer” as opposed to “tablet” with the little switch?
  11. @tobiewharton seriously check out the Future Impact. I programmed a convincing “Ain’t Nobody” patch for it last year (though I may tweak it with the new software). I’m pretty sure I could get close to the WH track too if I haven’t already. Also worth mentioning is the fact that if you need the extra speed/accuracy of keys, you can simply plug in a cheap MIDI keyboard into the FI and play the line on keys and even switch seamlessly between it and bass mid-song.
  12. Try the MXR Vintage Bass Octave - has the same right tracking as the BOD but sounds much better (OC-2 clone).
  13. Those are my clips. I posted as a foretaste of the upcoming major firmware update.
  14. Shame he never giggled, it’s a fun pedal, perhaps he wasn’t using it right! 😆
  15. Damn, I had a wanted ad up for Labella 760FL strings.
  16. Check out the Source Audio Gemini (or Lunar or Mercury as they are all capable of using the SA chorus models). If you want to go large, check out Chase Bliss’s “Warped Vinyl”.
  17. They do make P and PJ versions too.
  18. Quick reply here. PM me if you want more details or go to the Future Impact thread: This does everything the Deep Impact did (the first nine sounds are the original Deep Impact sounds). It does so much more. You don’t need to be a wizard at programming to load other people’s patches onto it. I’ve literally written the book on this pedal (the new manual) which should make everything a lot clearer when the new update is released.
  19. True, though they intend to add it. Actually, switching off open string triggering helped to improve the playing when I played an IR bass earlier this year.
  20. As I said, there are other options: http://frettrax.com/ You can get the system retrofitted to any bass or buy one of theirs.
