  1. ‘Tis a thing of beauty. The other two are pretty damn amazing. The Matrixbrute is so ridiculously deep and flexible as any of the 12 fixed sources (plus 4 of your choosing) can be routed to any of the 12 fixed destinations (plus four of your choosing) in any combination, in any amount and all at the same time! The Pro 2 is also astounding. Do check out Marc Doty’s (Automatic Gainsay) YouTube videos on the Matrixbrute and Pro 2 and you’ll see what I mean.
  2. Damn. A bit far to try in person then.
  3. There was one for sale on here yesterday.
  4. I preferred the T-16 sound but BOD tracked way better for me. T-65 and T-16 have the same circuit. There appeared to be some residual bleed for the former’s octave up circuit. If you want full-on synth then the octave up is useful.
  5. Octamizer also has an older model. Identical innards. If you want to use right-angled cables you’ll need to new one. Identifiable by “DC” instead of “DC IN” on top and a flat screw for the battery drawer as opposed to the knob.
  6. Might want to correct the spelling in the title as it may not turn up in a search.
  7. I’m only thinking of letting it go for that Oly White Lakland I showed you (or the US version I know someone on here has). I don’t want to get it refinished.
  8. Did you also check out the Matrixbrute and the Pro 2?
  9. The Enigma is great and does the Q-Tron stuff and more (both designed by Mike Beigel of Mu-Tron III fame). Actually it is possible to get LFO on the Enigma by using something like a Source Audio Reflex expression pedal or the Copilot Broadcast into the expression input! If you get a hub, you can set up the expression pedal to bring LFO in and out. It’s a little compromised as the LFO shares the dial with the envelope control but it’s possible to get some pretty cool sounds. Let me know when you get a hub and I’ll share some presets.
  10. EDIT 16/12/19 I’ve ordered a Lakland PJ so this is now definitely for sale/trade. These were a limited edition in 2016 and very hard to get hold of. This is in outstanding condition. There’s some swirling on the pickguard now from slapping and a light lacquer mark on the back of the upper horn (can only be seen by tilting to the light at a certain angle). Very light marking (normal playing wear) from rubbing against clothing on the back that is only visible from a particular angle. (I’m being really picky.) There is no buckle rash. Set up by Jon Shuker a couple of months ago with Rotosound Swingbass steel 45-105. Weight is 4.25kg. Comes with the fender ABS hard case and all case candy. Pickup in Sheffield preferred. (I might be able to deliver in person to central London, Bath/Bristol or Darlington combined with a visit to friends/family but only if paid for before I travel.) Possible trades: Stingray SLO Special (single H, 2EQ) Fender USA Jazz Deluxe (pre-Elite model) Fender 75 reissue Jazz (Japan or USA) Lakland 44-64 with jazz neck Lakland 44-60 Sadowsky UV70 Sandberg California VS4 or TT4 Rosewood boards only, please. In natural or white (or Honeyburst in the case of the stingray).
  11. I’m pretty sure I mentioned this to you: MIDI Pad 2 on iOS devices. £3. I have mine set up as below. Each button is a program change number and jumps straight to the stored patch. You can also set it up to send multiple CCs and a host of other stuff. On iPhone the formatting is too small for one page with 128 buttons. There are a couple of improvements I’ve suggested to the coders (such as the option to have the last-pressed button remain highlighted).
  12. This is true, often backing off the input volume is key. Certainly for the patches I sent, you can leave them set like that and then adjust input volume until the desired effect is reached. Part of the problem with retriggering is that there are no separate controls for attack and release. The Enigma fares better at this and I’ve dug mine out, got some pretty nice results. You can get an external tap tempo switch cheaply if needed.
  13. Also, you can hook up to an iPad and use something like Knob Lab to control all the parameters easily. It’s even possible to map several parameters to one knob (with specific ranges for each) to vastly change sounds on the fly!
  14. If you just need two presets then you can set the hub to write the patches to the hardware preset buttons and just stomp between them.
  15. That’s right, normally the link comes through automatically as soon as you’ve registered the product to your account. Which reminds me, I need to register mine! Did you email [email protected]? I got a response about a feature request I sent to that address. Failing that, it might be worth contacting someone like Adam or Amos directly (usually first name in front of the @moogmusic.com).
  16. I meant the single-line melody. I’d like to try an EWI sometime as flute is my main instrument. Waar in Nederland kom je vandaan?
  17. I enjoyed that. What was the lead sound on the outro played on? Are you Dutch/Flemish? Or did you just like the word?
  18. Nice one, you’ll love it. Once I finally get around to downloading the editor, I’ll email you some cool patches I’ve made.
  19. Yup, the Doom is an excellent dynamic octave fuzz.
