1.
My dig is directed at the importer, really. I don't care if it's built on the moon by the royal family... I ain't paying Sixteen hundred quid for an MPulse. Someone somewhere is having a laugh, I think.
Agreed, they have obviously spent years cultivating the falacy that Mesa=Boutique. They're good solid amps but in the states they're just as cheap as Marshalls are to us - I can't think of any other US brand that gets such huge mark ups as a result of crossing the atlantic.
2. Not seen much use, and it's been stored properly (i.e. I know how to coil a cable!). Gold plated connectors with spring clip bits etc. etc.
3. Right here's the list, free to collectors in Bristol - postage might be possible on some of the smaller items: ALL GONE FOLKS!
4. Nah, don't worry about it - my CDR's just collect dust and I'm sticking them in the post at work!
5. Right, they're copied but just on blank CD's with no printing. However, I've scanned in the CD cover as a pdf should anyone wish to print it out.
6. Guys, I'm afraid I won't get chance to post these out until Tuesday now - didn't get round to this on the weekend as I had an amp to pack and get out!
7. I'll make sure I burn a copy then until everyone on this thread is satisfied I think it's mostly tutorial type stuff but I'll check later on.
8. Postage is free! Who wants the original then and who wants the copy?
9. I found the only cover CD that Bassist ever did when I was clearing out and moving house - anyone want it to complete their Bassist mag collection? It's never even been played. Thanks, Graham

2X18 feedback

Very quick payment and very good comms. Man, that sounds like an ebay feedback. Basically, sound as a pound. Graham
11. Removing valves and packing/sending separately is a good idea.
12. This is quite a recent purchase but I've picked up a lower powered 400rb as I decided that the 700 was overkill for a backup amp. It's pretty much mint condition, boxed with manual. I bought it used off another forumite who had it new from the US and converted the voltage (simple transformer tap job) to 240v. £300 posted ono. PM me if you need pics and I'll get the camera out this evening. Regards, Graham
13. They were sh*t then too. *runs off*

6x10 plans

If you blew one up (and end up using any other similar ported cab in future), I'd seriously suggest cutting the bass - with the 810 the bass is limited by the nature of the cab design (i.e. sealed) and speakers will require far more power to get them past their 'normal' excursion. With a ported cab you can't just whack a load of bass through from a valve amp in the same way as you might with an Ampeg 810 without doing damage (you probably noticed the speakers jumping around). So in summary, just exercise a little caution until you get the Berg which will be able to handle it!

6x10 plans

That sounds like one major ball ache. Get a cheap used Peavey 410tx/txf in the meantime - that should more than cover it.
16. Nice price. I think it's fair to say that some of that price is to do with being within the EU so no shipping and import duty costs at the same penalty as the US manufacturers. Or it's a loss leader for the £4000 matching cab
17. Are you sure it's 450? The cost of producing something so powerful is almost wasted money considering anything over 300w all valve is struggling to be usable, even in a stadium environment!
18. Some nice rigs there. I won't post some of the old ones as the pics are all on my home computer, but here's the current jobbie:
19. Fantastic little midi controller that is ideal for patch/parameter changes if you are using rack effects but don't want a huge midi board. See http://www.axess-electronics.com/sc/MFC5-M...er-p-16137.html for details. It's in reasonable condition (a few scratches from gigging etc) but this is built to last a lifetime. £120 posted.
