1. Prices dropped on last two items - I'll leave them up here a week or so before resorting to the dreaded 'bay.
2. Adjusted the Loooper price seeing as it's a little bit 'bespoke'.
3. G-bitch

Those must be rare as rocking horse sh*t.
4. RAT sold pending payment, cheers Ash!
5. Loooper 2 loop switcher - two separate selectable loops (switch between A/, loop combine switch (wired in parallel) and tuner mute/send. All hard wired true bypass switches, top quality with LED indicators for switches (requires standard centre -ive 9v supply). 6. On hold for the Dundee man - I can wait until June no worries. ...adn SOLD
7. Just a quick bump to tell you all that I'll be away from tomorrow morning but will reply to any messages etc. by next Sunday. Cheers, Graham
8. First post here in a loooong time as I've just not been playing much at all and haven't found a band to play bass in since moving to Brizzle. Brand new Bergantino NV610, it's been used a few times at rehearsals but never gigged in anger. I think there's one very small mark from getting it in/out the car before I got the cover for it. Cover is nice custom made jobbie with holes for handles and shorter back so that it doesn't interfere with the wheels. £850 collection from Bristol or can arrange delivery/meet up depending on location and level of ball ache! I'm in Birmingham regularly if that helps. Drop me a PM if interested (I check emails most evenings).
9. That is pretty damn sweet. Tempted but I could only do a trade (Shuker 6 that weighs a ton!). Good luck with selling it!
10. That's the ugliest amp sleeve I have ever seen in my entire life. Amp looks pretty sweet though.
11. That's what galls me about my 6 string. Although it's my own fault for spec'ing a wenge obdy and 35" scale, it was only ever going to be monstrous.... sounds great though
12. I love my little studio combo but don't think I'd go for it as a head as I reckon the little 10" speaker in a sealed box has as much to do with the sound quality as the amp/modelling if not more.
13. You know, I'm really not sure that Acme cabs will get on very well with a valve head. Just a feeling from my experiences of valve amps with cabs that rely heavily on their porting for low end, they all just farted out really quick. That said, the extra excursion on the acme drivers would probably ease that somewhat. Just a hunch really (I used to have a B2).
14. Besides, all my experiments with bi-amping ended up sounding either no different or worse than the full range signal - I strongly suspect that this will ring true for most modern cabs unless they have been specifically designed to work that way (like GK's).
15. It's not all that simple - depends on how the crossover is sorted etc. I'd get in touch with Schroeder. Also, you'd need a 4 pole speakon or a second jack to connect it up. You would need to 'unwire' the cab internally!
16. They were £169 when released IIRC - but this was nearly 10 years ago so with RPI (not Brown's CPI bullshit factor), this probably isn't much over the new rrp. £80-100 were the shop prices after said shops bought huge batches of surplus from Akai when they were dicontinued, in fact, I'd be amazed if there was ever more than one huge production run.
17. Surely a similar spec could be found - only problem is fitting it in the case!
18.
Cool. Looks like I've found another Aguilar GS412 now anyway. Sounds amazing with the V4 by the way, exactly how I'd hoped. Looking forward to a proper practice with it tomorrow, last one before studio time. The VBC810 was at Fairdeal Music: http://www.fairdealmusic.com/marshall/7042...10-bass-cabinet
Awesome, glad to hear it!
19. Joe, don't worry - you'll struggle to stress it out, I used to have the 412 and it'd handle pretty much anything thrown at it.
20. I've used Bass Central & guitarman nyc (www.guitarmannyc.com)
21. G-bitch

8x10 cabs

Ah, superb - as long as it's sealed then you are golden. Just think of the money you saved if it starts to feel heavy
22. You want an old Ampeg V4B or V4 mate - seriously fantastic for getting the driven valve power section sound. I'd offer mine in trade but I know that I'm not a huge fan of the Trace V series heads (I like something a little dirtier that you can overdrive!).
23.
Would postage be a possibility on an IEC mains lead?
Sorry - all promised out. PM me your address though and I'll pay our IT guy a visit!
