Another sale as no longer play live this has now to go . It's an incredible piece of kit ( listen to Michael manring last album to understand the potential of this unit) . I have used it a bit but kept in excellent condition , only a few tiny marks as you can see from the pictures. I don't have the original box but it will be packed super well . Next week I'm also travelling up north if anyone interested .

We all know this basses and how good and close they are to the real thing . Bought this only to keep it for recording but I really don't get along with it . I rather buy a 4 string p bass for recording purposes. It has some marks as you can see Dr m the pictures and a new set of strings is a must , otherwise it plays as you would except. Happy to meet anywhere near the south hams , Exeter, Plymouth . I'm also travelling up to Yorkshire next week if anyone is interested

Another great instrument here . This one has more scars than the other but still in really good condition with amazing low action and plays like a dream I also love the sound of it . Owned this for the last 2 years and been my main bass but since the new bass arrived this has sat in his case . I can't keep it unfortunately as need money to pay for a DB otherwise this would stay with me. Best bass for the money . Happy to meet anywhere near the south hams , Exeter, Plymouth . I'm also travelling up to Yorkshire next week if anyone is interested

Years ago, my wife was listening some music and this song cought my attention . We liked it but eventually lost track of it then we noticed Pete Josef was playing a local gig, we decided to go, even though our decision was based solely on a brief, years-old acquaintance with just one song. Getting out is a rare treat for us since we have children, so we took the chance. The concert was phenomenal. Every member of the band was a brilliant musician: the drummer was great, the bass/double bass player top-notch( AND IF YOU ARE A MEMBER HERE GIVE US A SHOUT), and the singer/pianist and guitarist were absolutely impressive. Their performance was a vibrant fusion of jazz, Latin, soul, and dance. While listening to the album didn't move me much, their live performance was truly unbelievable. I highly recommend them! If you are in London on October 26th and free, go see them—they'll make you want to dance , best gig we have been in a while . Btw I'm not on commission for ticket sales but if you go and really enjoy them dm me and I'll send you my PayPal 😂

Good luck Tony ... Take the time you need . I totally understand your decision ! Im early 40s and I have no desire to join a band . I love playing at home and continuing learning the bass . Perhaps you could start a Liberace tribute band ? Haven't seen one 🤣

My frends really awful band - advice needed
fiatcoupe432 replied to Uncle Rodney's topic in General Discussion
Just tell him you have tinnitus and that night was really bad and couldn't concentrate on the music... Honestly?? If you think he is a good musician , tell him that and tell him that he can do better . If he asked for your opinion perhaps he knows you are more experienced and perhaps your advice would help him to find a better set of musician who could also help him grow . -

From left to right M7 35 inch Pasini ( wood& tronics) 34 inch Ramsey di Piazza 34 inch Squire vm70 34 inch Ibanez btb 33 inch And the S Martyn 30 inch The Martyn is the only bass I will keep all the rest will go . It has the most detailed b string ,second best the Ramsey and third the m7. The comfort of playing a 30" six it's something of another level. I don't mind switching in between scale length but since the s Martyn has arrived I don't play any of the other basses -

After years and years of GAS my search for the perfect bass is finally over! After years of playing, I recently got my hands on a 30-inch, 6-string short-scale bass. For the last seven years, I've loved playing and learning of a 6-string but struggled with the weight and the stretch of my 34 and 35-inch scales. The weight was really starting to take a toll especially when standing and let's be honest , there aren't many light weight 6 . After seeing posts about Eude's short-scale acgs , I was inspired to make the leap. I found a S martyn and bought it on a whim. I'm completely in love—it's so comfortable and incredibly light at just 2.7kg. I only regret not making the switch earlier. -
