1. I'd not met Martin until today, absolutely top bloke with lots of interesting stories - next time, I'll arrange to meet him in a pub!! Absolutely hassle free trade deal for an amp that was exactly as he'd described. Great communication in advance of meeting up. Would more than happily do deals with Martin in the future Cheers again Martin!!
2. Sold an amp to Gary. Great guy to deal with - great communications and easy going. Hope you enjoy it!! Cheers again, J.
3. Just sold an amp to Benebass - absolutely first class guy to deal with. Great communication, polite and friendly. I really hope you enjoy the amp. Thanks again and all the best! J.
4.
Bought an amp from Jabba & he's a really great guy to deal with. He kept me updated through all steps of the transaction & due to his excellent packing everything arrived safely. Would definitely deal with him again - cheers! B.
Many thanks again - hope you enjoy the amp!!
5.
I never knew that! I'm shocked and disgusted!! http://www2.parcelforce.com/send-worldwide...ns/prohibitions It's right there but they don't tell you at the post office counter!! Appalling!!
I just had a look at the list of prohibited/excluded items - it's quite long isn't it?!!! When they wouldn't cough up for the damage to my bass the reason given was that it was not well enough packaged - no mention was made that the insurance excluded instruments....
6. Yet again a well known parcel company manages to let me down. Give them a parcel for a fellow basschatter yesterday morning first thing on a 24 hour service - check the tracker 36 hours later and the parcel is only just showing as having left my local depot. Useless. Last time they had anything of mine was a bass they managed to dent they wouldn't cough up even though it was fully insured (after a couple of months of contacting them). Aaagggghhh! Just needed to vent.......
7. Bump - I've now had chance to try it out properly and it works very well......
8. I might be interested also - I'm not far away in Tewkesbury
9.
I'm glad you finally managed to sell it. PJB gear is great and I'm constantly searching the for sale section for the stuff. I was suprised this hadn't sold sooner!
Cheers James. They are great bits of gear, not the loudest and not the cheapest but fantastic sounding. I guess folk are all feeling the pinch at the moment. Cheers J.
10.
Would you ship? If buyer organises?
Hi. Yep - I'd ship the amp within the UK. Cheers J.
11. Bought this by mistake a couple of weeks ago off the 'bay!!! Wanted a narrow one but didn't check the photos closely enough or ask......there's a lesson!! Anyway, it's an Ashdown ABM 300 Evo ii head in really good condition (no scratches, no tears in vinyl - just a couple of really minor nicks). I cleaned it up since I bought it (cleaned the pots / cleaned the case) and resprayed the corners so it looks really good now. [s]Haven't even had chance to turn it up since I bought it.[/s]. I have now had the chance to try it out through Ashdown 1x15 and 4x8 cabs and it definitely works well!!! Looking for £150 collected from Tewkesbury or trade for similar but narrow version Cheers J. P.S. I should add that this amp is 24" wide so is fine to sit on a 4x10 cab or similar. I've got a 4x8 cab which is only 19" wide hence wanting the narrow version of this amp.
12. Cheers for the bump! Have one yourself for an excellent bit of kit! J.
13. For sale is my Ashdown ABM 300 1x 15 combo. It is in fantastic condition - no rips, tears or scratches. Only a couple of really shallow dents in the grille that can only be seen from the right angle. I'm only selling as I have too much stuff that doesn't get used enough. It's a 2003 model manufactured in the UK - even got the manual for it. Asking for £[s]250[/s]220 collected from Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire Cheers J. Also got an SWR 2 2 x 10 combo and a Phil Jones BG-150 for sale in other posts.....as I said, too much stuff!!
