1. I would imagine so for £750- if not, I'll take it (no joke ) I had a JO5 before and it was one of the best constructed and sounding basses I've ever had the misfortune (stupidity?) to let go. I just couldn't get on with the 35" scale sadly.
2. BUMP it up- 16 people on the Bay watching it, which usually equates to no bids
3. I couldn't find a Feedback thread for Ian so I thought I'd start one. I bought Ian's EBS Multicomp from him. It's a quality pedal and in excellent condition. Great comms all the way and fast posting- many thanks Ian!!
4.
Hey Murphy, would you say this cleans up the tone at all ?
Hi mate- I realyl like the Punch factory as a comp. I think it cleans up the tone without colouring it too much. IIRC They're quite highly rated for being pretty transparent. Not sure if that makes sense, but it's the best I can do on a Friday afternoon.
5. My own personal recommendations are either the Epi UL310 or the Schroeder 21012L Steve (as discussed). Both should be more than enough to cover most venues and are small and light enough to take anywhere easily. My own preference is the UL310 but that's due to the tighter sound of the 3x10's over the 2x10's and 1x12 in the Schroeder. That said, the Schroeder offers (IMHO) better on-stage sound and projection of the lower end. But, to qualify the above, I really don't know what I'm talking about from a technical point of view- it's all subjective
6. Bought some 1964 reissue jazz pickups from Shaun- a completely painless transaction. Thanks again Shaun.
7. I'm selling a perfect condition Aphex Punch Factory Compressor- a thoroughly decent bit of kit. Only a few months old and yours for £55 plus £4 P&P. Thanks for looking.
8.
I absolutely worship Prefab Sprout and Martin is a massively underated bass player and what a tone, Stingray-graphite neck, done. I can't believe Paddy is going blind. "Life's, not complete, till your heart skips a beat"
+1 A fantastic band and Martin is/was a really decent bassist and is tone stood out a mile. Not sure I could justify a Trace Cab though
9. That's gorgeous- you must be very proud and tired after all that work!!
10. I've just taken delivery (for the second time!) of Rich's 64 Burgundy Mist Fender Jazz and I'm a very happy man. I consider the Jazz to be the final piece of my Bass "Holy Trinity". My wife on the other hand considers me to be a bit of a cock Another completely hassle-free transaction with Rich who is a lovely guy to deal with. Thanks again Rich
11. One of the nicest sounding and easiest playing P basses I've ever used. The Fralin pickup is amazing and the neck finish is beautiful (not to mention the sunburst). This bass is quality and if I hadn't got my Fender P bass I'd have this back in a shot.
12.
Aye,
I THINK you'll be okay Jase- I just hope you've got a head for heights when it comes to fixing the Holder on...don't look down!!
13.
Are you looking to sell it on OHM?
Make me an offer and it's yours if you want it Jase
14.
Yeah, that's the type of thing, any ideas as to where I can get some?
I've got one I don't use.....
15. I've bought and traded with Marco in the past and he's an honest, decent guy. I'd happily buy from him again and if I could afford it, that jazz bass would be winging its way to me as we speak... Any discount for a positive review?
16. Very nice. I think it's time to update your signature
