1.
Swapped from what to what? I'm just about to remove the Lindy Fralins that came in it and install some Aeros that arrived from Hawaii yesterday, to get it back to stock. I have no means of recording anything however.
Dave- are you looking to sell the Fralins ad would they fit in to a Joe Osborn?
2. That's gorgeous John. I wish I had the money
3. I have just taken delivery of a Lakland Joe Osborn Skyline in Lake Placid Blue and decided that I wanted to install the stack pots on it as per the US model. A quick email to Lakland resulted in a return email within 5 minutes (no joke) from Dan Lakin himself. A day later I get another email sent over with the wiring diagram and price including postage. After speaking to Kirk at Lakland today and paying by credit card, it has been posted and should be with me early next week. I am seriously impressed and must spread the gospel of how professional and quick they have been. Nice one guys
4. I bought this for my wife a few weeks ago from Guitar Village in Farnham. Unfortunately, she doesn't want it (hmmm) so it's now for sale. It's a Tanglewood Folk-sized guitar in beautiful vintage sunburst. It is constructed to a very high standard and sounds amazing. The spec is as follows: Description: Folk shape Solid Sitka Spruce top Rosewood back and sides Mahogany neck Maple bound Rosewood fingerboard Abalone dot inlays Nut width: 43mm Rosewood bridge Gold Kluson style with Butterbean buttons Rosewood rosette Herringbone top binding Maple back & side binding Black ABS bridge pins with White dots Bone compensating saddle Vintage Sunburst gloss finish D'Addario EXP11 strings It really is as new and is spotless. Comes with a good padded gigbag. I paid just over £300 for this including gigbag but as I don't play guitar, I have no need for this. I'm looking for £210 for it and would prefer it was picked up or could arrange to meet half-way. Thanks for looking.
5. I had the same a while back Al. Having suffered major shoulder problems in the past I have to say it worried me. I played around with the length of my bass strap and it stopped the pain completely. It may just be bad ergonomics.

Having just spent a very pleasant afternoon talking bass, I can thoroughly recommend Barrie to anyone looking to deal with him. He bought my Epifani UL310 in a completely hassle-free transaction. A thoroughly nice guy and very good company too. Thanks Barrie- keep in touch
9. Just bought an Epifani UL212 off Gary this morning. He wasn't kidding when he said it was immaculate. He's a really nice guy and as honest as the day is long. Thanks Gary and good luck with the gig tonight.
10.
Before After Just my opinion but I prefer my 59 how it looks now than before when it was minus paint. My feelings are the same about that Jazz, nice looking Bass but somehow it looks like someone decided to "relic it" in a very unnatural way. With a bit of careful restoration it could look even nicer!
When are you going on Holiday next Steve?

12.
I'd be interested in trying the UL212 so perhaps we need another EpiFest.
Sounds good to me Dave

14.
Not many more Epifani's for you to own and sell now Nick! The 1 x 15 that you sold me is still going strong along with the 4 x 10 that I bought from another Basschatter....
If I could afford (was allowed) to keep the all Steve I would! I'd love to give your Epi rig a blast one day
15.
Done a couple of trades with Nick - always sells immaculate gear. Bumpo from me So what cab are you going to replace it with Nick?
Another Epifani Clarky- a 212. If I could keep both, I would. This is a seriously good cab Thanks for your glowing endorsement BTW
16. I'm selling my Epifani UL310 Cab. It's pretty much immaculate and is about 6 months old (bought from the Bass Gallery). Speaker: 3 x 250w RMS Cast Aluminum Frame 100w RMS Tweeter Freq Response: 40hz - 16khz Power Rating: 750w RMS (1800w Peak) 5.3 Ohms Suggested Wattage: 200w - 1000w Sensitivity: 103db SPL @ 1w 1m Recessed Handles Dimensions: 23" H x 21.5" W x 16.5 " D 47 lbs. I'm looking for £550 for it (cost about £750 new) and would ideally like a pick up from home or meet somewhere (I live near Woking, Surrey and work in Basingstoke) but am travelling up to Leicester on Saturday morning if anyone wants to meet. I'd also consider trades for a Lakland Joe Osborn 4 stringer or one of the new style Fender Jazz basses plus cash (if required). I haven't posted any pics, but it is in excellent condition. Thanks for looking
17.
What colour is your US P??? Please don't say sunburst
It's this colour
18. Shame you're not looking for a US P. I may be moving mine on due to my old hearing problems coming back
19. Just a thought (and a bit of a trek) but have you tried Peter Cook's in Hanwell (near Ealing)? They always seem to carry Fenders and I seem to remember him having a 51 P bass in stock.
20. GAK in Brighton are always pretty well stocked. The other one that has varying levels of kit is Dawson's. I'd never buy anything from them as they're pretty expensive. BTW I've used bob at Kingfisher many times to service and work on my basses. He's a really nice guy and I highly recommend him.
21.
gloat i keep bumping it...time will tell
I'm tyring to see if I've got anything by way of a trade that would interest you
22. I keep coming back and looking at this again and again. I really miss my Stingray 5..sigh
23. Welcome aboard mate. I must admit I mis-read your name at first and thought you'd joined the wrong forum for a minute!
