1. Bought one the other day, fitted it today and it sounds amazing. The only problem is it doesn't fit properly due to the battery compartment I have fitted for the LEDS in my P Bass neck I'm not going to chop the bass up any more than it is so will sell the P Retro on and am seriosuly peed off. Gutted
 2. For sale is my 1985 (I think) Westone Thunder 1A unlined fretless. It's as black as yer 'at and all original. There are dings and marks on it but nothing major other than you would expect on a 25 year old bass (pictured) and there is some fingerboard-wear (again pictured) but still many years of play left in her. Intonation is great and none of the dings or marks affect playability at all. All the electrics work fine too and the bass has a wonderful fretless sound. It's pretty light too and would make a great bass for someone wanting to try an unlined board before investing in a more expensive instrument. I'm looking for around £130 plus P&P for this. There's no case but it would be well packed (or picked up from Woking is available too).

 6.
Definitely not my old one, which was an incredibly weight beast ~12Ibs!! I'm tempted!
Just weighed it on my mate's fishing scales and it's just about 9.75lbs, so lighter than you're average Stingray 5.
 7.
This looks like the one I used to own. How much does it weigh? If it is the one, I can honestly say that this was without doubt the best sounding bass I had prior to getting my F bass.
Thanks for your kind words. I'm not entirely sure of it's provenance but knowing how incestuous Basschat is there's a fair chance it is your old one! By my scales in the bathroom it weighs between 9 and 9.5lbs so not very light but certainly not heavy either. In fact it feels lighter than that on the strap.
 8. I picked this up recently hoping it would be the right step back on the 5 string path. For a week it worked out perfectly but playing it last night and my forearm went back in to spasm and the old injury has flared up massively So, for sale or trade is this gorgeous Lakland JO Skyline 5 string which is in fantastic condition apart from a few scratches on the lower horn (pictured) which aren't through the lacquer. It is kitted out with Fralins and sounds absolutely wonderful. It's also now strung with D'Addario Chromes but I would be happy to restring with a brand new set of Elites (I think) that I have to hand. It also comes with a Lakland hardcase but unfortunately this has a crack in one of the ends (pictured) but doesn't affect playability. The bass is stunning and I have never seen one in such a nice sunburst colour. I am looking for trades with either a US Fender Jazz (new series) 4 string or Lakland Duck Dunn. I will also sell for £700. Thanks for looking. I really am gutted this one hasn't worked out
 9. For Sale is my Boss ME-50B Multi Effects Unit. I've not had this long and it is in immaculate condition. It comes with the original packaging, power supply a handy padded bag (old laptop case) and a separate footswitch to activate the Compressor without having to programme patches etc. The great thing about these units is that the effects can be used a 3 or 4 individual pedals rather than having to worry about porgramming patches etc although that can be done too if you're more technically minded than me This is a really decent piece of kit in great condition, just sadly not being used much at the moment. I'm looking for £120 inc P&P or £110 picked up. I would be more than happy to accept a P/ex for a Korg Pitchblack and some cash. Here's what Boss has to say on this unit: The BOSS ME-50B puts world-class bass effects in a rugged floor unit with easy pedal-style control. Effects are divided into six sections—Compressor/Limiter, Master, Filter/Tone, Drive/Synth, Delay/Modulation and Expression Pedal—giving bassists a range of unique and powerful tones including new effects like Sound Hold, Octave Up and Kick Drum. Effects can be edited using 23 knobs and controlled via three built-in footswitches and an assignable expression pedal. This is the piece no bass player should be without! Floor-based bass multi-effects processor with easy analog control Killer COSM® Compressor/Limiter and Drive effects, plus T-Wah, Slow Gear and Defretter Innovative Sound Hold function for sustaining a low note while playing on top Sound On Sound recording with new Kick Drum effect for keeping time Dedicated knobs for each effect section—no menu-surfing! Easy Tone effects with Preset EQ templates for quick tone editing 3 footswitches and onboard expression pedal routed to 6 options like Octave, Wah, etc. Solid metal case built to withstand abuse

Shame abojut the chromes as i quite like them. Good luck with the sale.
Will do mate. I think I've found the right ones now but until they arrive I won't get too excited
 14. Bought these to fit on my Lakland Joe Osborn 5 string. Only the B has been taken out but they're too short and are suitable for a 34" scale not 35" Stringbusters are selling these for £38.80 plus P&P. These are going for £32 inc.
 15. For sale is a John East J- Retro 01 pre-amp designed to slot directly in to a standard Jazz bass without any modification. It's in fantastic condition and has all-chrome hardware. These are great units and offer 3 band graphic eq as well as a passive bypass. Here's a link to John's website with a bit more detail about the unit and some pictures: http://www.east-uk.com/ They're currently selling for £195 new and I have priced this one for £120 inc postage. I'm also selling a set of DR Fatbeams stainless steel roundwounds too (gauge 45-105) that have literally been put on to my P Bass and taken straight off again (I much prefer flats!!) These are hte Marcus Miller series with a round core construction for a fatter tone, deeper sound and smoother feel than Hi-Beams. These retail at £28.60 plus P&P, so yours for £18 inc. Thanks for looking

 18.
MB1. ...Neigh!... Horses are Automatic!...I'll Get me Coat! BUMP!
and Saddle? BUMP for added Pics
 19.
me too, you could always take the battery out! Just kidding. Ironically enough I have a usa jazz but I want to keep that unfortunately.
Funnily enough, I did have a Stingray with a passive bypass a while back, but using it instead of the active EQ seemed as pointless to me as having a gearstick on a horse.
 20.
How bout a stingray with a rosewood board? Got one of them I'd swap it for!
Hi mate Thanks for the offer. I'm more of a passive bass fan though
