Have we covered From Cradle To Stage yet? Dave Grohl's mum interviews the mums of other famouses. Episode 6 is Geddy Lee! (and mum). See https://www.techradar.com/uk/news/how-to-watch-from-cradle-to-stage-on-paramount-plus-free-and-from-anywhere - but it's on MTV from Thursday if you're appropriately equipped (I've got it on my Sky Box). Two or three "who?" in the list, which looks like this:
May 6: Dan Reynolds (of Imagine Dragons) and Christene Reynolds
May 13: Pharrell and Dr. Carolyn Williams
May 20: Miranda and Bev Lambert
May 27: Brandi and Teresa Carlile
June 3: Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine) and Mary Morello
June 10: Geddy Lee (of Rush) and Mary Weinrib
With John Goodsall not leaving the US, there's zero Xs in the current version that would gig in the UK. Not sure that's what I signed up for when I got tickets.
Same here. Nearly posted this on the DB thread where everyone's moaning, decided it probably wasn't in the spirit of things (especially as I haven't listened to vol 6 yet)
A friend worked at Wunjo, and he thought it fitting that there was exactly one Joe who worked there. Also, and by coincidence you'll find scarcely credible, at No. Tom there is no Tom working there.
Between Trev and Martin Fry? I had to look him up, the pic is making his chin a lot more beefy than reality.
Clue: plays a Vox Teardrop, his band has a different name abroad.
Row 2 #3 = bloke from Thomson Twins, #6 = Trevor Horn
The others you mention I would never have got, having looked up the answers - there's a handful of others similar.
Possibly one for another thread - does your band have "always in" songs that have to appear in every set, or do you mix it up every time?
From my trib days we tried to do the latter, but it turned out that there were one or two songs that turned up in every set regardless.
Yep agree re GAD, but also it would've been nice to see Cracked Actor or Ashes to Ashes included from that show, which (I don't think) have appeared so far in the series.
