Two almost new units that were my backup units for recording and processing podcasts on the road. That line of work has pretty much dried up so I now run everything through an x8p installed in my desk. Both bought from Anderton's, will be sent in original packaging (also in perfect condition), with paperwork etc. Solo £300 https://www.andertons.co.uk/universal-audio-apollo-solo-heritage-edition-usb-audio-interface/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20740063870&gbraid=0AAAAADujoUr5U6OxBzq2jeT6MEq03blQy&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpuyB0PrskgMV65tQBh3WOzOKEAQYASABEgI0i_D_BwE Satellite £450 https://www.andertons.co.uk/universal-audio-uad2-satellite-thunderbolt-3-octo-core/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20509568582&gbraid=0AAAAADujoUrVHyU_JSGA9TApJlT9AkQrc&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIweShhvrskgMVOpRQBh1hmyAAEAQYASABEgIrRfD_BwE Insured courier will be around £15 each 👍

It’s sure is a possibility but wouldn’t that be an overkill?

Personally, my inclination would be to do both. If you have the inlay jigs, you may as well do it at the 12th fret and on the body.

Dang! That is absolutely stunning. And dream specs, tbh. I'd love a short scale six. Congrats.

Tim bought my CIJ Fender Precision neck, and was a pleasure to deal with. Easy communication and prompt payment. Recommended.

If you look for any specific wood and any unwanted behaviour you're going to find 'evidence'. There's so much roasted maple out there for decades already with zero issues, it's unhelpful to echo the moans and groans of the outliers.

I had an RM500 a few years back, and the headphone output was noisy. Guy spent 20 minutes trying to diagnose it and Dave just cut over and said “class D modules create noise, deal with it” 😄 A couple of years ago my old ABM was on duty with @asingardenof and it blew up - the 20 year old MOSFETs had given up the ghost. Dave said that was the issue with MOSFETs, almost coming across as saying “well OF COURSE this will happen”, and changed the board for an NOS BiPolar output stage from an earlier incarnation of the ABM series. Cost less than a meal out for two including all the shipping. So yes, an excellent and very helpful man but you gotta know how to take his approach!

*PRICE INCLUDES UK POSTAGE * Wicked pedal! Tracks beautifully. Only selling as I’m now using multi-effect unit. In great condition (I may even have original box…can’t find at the moment m). Does an octave below and/or above. Also has an independent boost effect. Blurb here: Octavius tri-tone generator has 4 controls LO OCT, HIGH OCT, MASTER MIX and BOOST. LO OCT knob lets you set the volume of the lower octave signal produced by the pedal. HIGH OCT knob controls the volume of the higher octave signal produced by the pedal. The balance between the levels of these 2 knobs is what creates your particular octave-divided sound. Experiment with your mix, and you’ll be amazed at the variety of effects you’ll get. MASTER MIX knob lets you set the overall volume of your low and high octaves compared to your direct signal. Use the BOOST knob to control the output of your octave-divided sound. The boost function lets you dial in a solo level, whether the overdrive circuit is activated or not.

If you were starting today, what’s the best way to learn?

I do monthly lessons to play classical music. A teacher can help you on a pathway, answer specific questions and provide support and reassurance. Most will have books and materials they use that the can share. A teacher / student relationship (a good one, at least) is more than telling you what notes to play and what not to play. What’s also a good idea is to set out your aspirations. Do you want to master a specific album or focus on one genre? Fo you want to simply play or do the theory stuff too? Having those goals enables you - and your teacher - to make a plan. Best of luck with it! -

Good question. My opinion, they are a bit softer than the Siprocore (even though these are the top tension of the Corelli line). They are also softer in acoustic volume (but perhaps clearer in tone), great when amplified and easier (I think nicer) under the bow. Not a sales pitch but the Corelli’s are worthy of a try if you have never done so before. Different in a nice way.🤷🏾♂️
