  1. Past hour
  2. nice to meet you dad, wtf you been the last 40 years?
  3. My absolute favourite Trace Elliot amp ever. I genuinely think there was something very special about the RAH350 that lots of the other Trace heads didn't quite have. At one stage I had 2 of these because I loved them so much. I swore blind that I'd never sell this one but we're moving house and I have way too much gear and the move means I'll be giving up my man cave. Works perfectly and sounds way louder than any 350w head should. Collection only from nr Towcester in South Northamptonshire (10 mins from M1 J15a & 20 mins from M40 J10) Comes with flight case and correct cable to connect to a cab with a speakon connector port.
  4. I have one in cherry burst and the necks are sublime on these. Due to their rarity I’d say they’re borderline collectible too. GLWTS
  5. I'm struggling to find a decent vanity shot of the bass before I dyed the board, but the first shot below should suffice. The board was quite light brown and (for me) didn't really fulfill the all-black look I was after.
  6. Aguilar OBP-2 Preamp removed from a Spector Euro LX. It still has all the old pots attached and has glue / foil tape on it from where it was stuck down in the control cavity. Works perfectly but looks a little messy and appears to have been installed by a 3yr old - hence the bargain price. £40 includes postage to mainland UK

  7. Yes, I know what MK meant - the 16.5mm spacing Status necks he had on the KingBasses are pretty much uniform width from heel to nut. I haven't measured this fretless one, but it certainly looks pretty uniform in width. I'll have to check my S2-Classic and Stealth 2...
  8. Yes, I've been checking carefully and after carefully comparing I've discovered several duplicates being offered by competing vendors
  9. I’ve always wanted one of these! Unfortunately having a grandmother and minitaur , means that I’ll have to pass . Have a bump anyway ! GLWTS
  10. PM’d Out of interest… does anyone know would these fit a JMJ?
  11. Barber Linden EQ Pedal. Baxandall style EQ pedal, similar in style to a B15/Fender amp EQ but with some interesting options on the toggle switches. Remarkably similar to the Noble DI in the way that these interact and a lovely parter to the JF Luce DI as I've found out this week. Price includes UK Postage.

  13. Looks like a giraffe with little legs...or maybe a diplodocus talking a drink ! @Cornwall Steve Hardoff is worth taking a look @ Zen will purchase and shipp from them, Hardoff kinda seems like JP Crack converters but much less scummy.
  14. Given the nature of the Bird... I'd prefer collection/Delivery but well packaged and very insured postage is possible. This one has been my gateway drug, and before i knew it i've bought myself an old single pickup model. It's in mint condition, and comes with a great padded gigbag. Pretty light at 3.8 kg, and personally I haven't had an issue with neck dive as these sometimes suffer from. These are proper neck-through models like the originals. As always please hit me up with questions/photo requests! .

  15. I don't really know how to describe this one... can be a preamp, DI, Fuzz, Drive or EQ with a particular flavour of it's own. Great condition, Price includes UK Delivery.

  17. SFX Micro Thumpinator v2 in good condition. It has been on my pedal board for a year but now I'm using a multi fx with HPF built in so is no longer needed. Has velcro on base. £80 includes postage to mainland uk.
  18. Might just buy them so we can cut down on the flowery terminology ! 😁 Where are you in London sir ? JOdeV
  19. Wilkinson hardware is generally good and stands up well against other brands. Schaller and Hipshot are higher quality and associated with more premium or high end spec instruments. I've only had good experiences with Wilkinson hardware. Another brand that is gaining popularity and a decent reputation is Guyker. One thing to be aware of when swapping out this kind of tuner is the mass. If the V96 is light, putting heavy Schaller vintage-style tuners on that are heavier than the stock ones, could cause neck dive or at least a change in balance of the bass. Another consideration is that the OEM tuners aren't the same spec/quality as the aftermarket ones. That the WJBL200 tuners supplied from the factory aren't as good quality as the aftermarket. I've seen this before on various products. Sometimes it's impossible to change to another tuner without having holes. I'm doing one this afternoon and will post a pic. I'm putting the old screws back in the old holes... ...probably.
  20. So it would seem there are so many variations.. and that no one really knows a full definitive list...? And given the wealth of excellent knowledge on 'ere.. then... You would deduce that this has to be a historical marketing disaster on behalf of Music man/ Ernie ball / Stingray/ Sterling and anyone else vaguely connected....? I have a 2019 Indonesian made 'Ray 34'. which is excellent BTW...! Regards.
  21. @HeadlessBassist is this one of those "consistent width necks" status basses i read mark king talking about once? it doesn't seem to have a heel to nut (pre bendwell) tapper ?
  22. Re-release version. It’s been used, so isn’t pristine but works fine. Velcro on the base. No original box.
