The level of protection depends on the thickness of the padding you choose. I went with the basic and I have no complaints. For car-transported gear it is perfectly adequate. You defo get a better measurement PLUS, not only can you choose your options in terms of colours, thickness, pockets, straps, additional protection in the front for a cab/amp BUT you get to meet the boys.
