Hey
Anyone got any ideas where I can buy a double gig bag from that I can fit two bases into?

And I'm not talking stupid money like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEVYS-DOUBLE-GIG-BAG...=item1e59b9d33e

Yes, I know I could just use two seperate gig bags, but I prefer to use the one, and yes i know I could just stick two together myself, but I dont want to, so no stupid comments along these lines please

thanks

I have a Fender one. I paid about £40 last year for it from Strings direct.
Its gone up a bit now.

I was very pleased with it until i put it on. The way the strap works means if you use it on one shoulder the metal strap clip actually sits on your shoulder and is bloody uncomfortable.
I only really got it to keep two basses in at home so its not a big deal. It seems well padded and good value.

The Ritter one is ok, and the Warwick one is a Warick one (nice bag but with crap soft/thin padding). The Levys is worth the extra cash if you think you'll use it a lot. But - two basses together are heavy, and I find it a lot easier to carry two bags.

+1 - Plus, OOooo Too Heavy!! :)
I had a similar idea and got this bass version Case for 2 basses
Thinking it would be easier to move around (got wheels) it's Bl***y heavy carrying it up stairs.
Only used it twice!
On reflection, it is much easier to handle them individually.

Sod it, theyre just too darned expensive. I brought two "Italia" soft cases off Ebay for £9 each including next day delivery.
They fit a precision ok, but not a hagstrom 8 string, nor a BC rich mockingbird, but I did some jiggling around with other bases and everything is now cased up.
You can close this post if you wish now.

Just as a matter of interest-now that you're sorted it probably doesn't matter. But....... :)
That Levy's one is a pretty good price if you ask me-you are looking at more than that
for a single Mono or iGig case.
I used an inexpensive (£40) Peavey double bag for a while, and the some of the stitching came
apart after a couple of weeks. It's still usable, and it's pretty decent, but some foam is showing
through. If you prefer to use a gig bag over a hard case-as I do-It really is worth investing in a
good quality,well padded one.
