...bloody brilliant. Picked one up last week, and its a great bit of kit. Much warmer than other valve pedals (DHA) i have owned, and has a great gain range. With my hellbaby before it, i have a brilliant 2 channel valve dirt sound which sounds better than anything iv previously owned. Im very happy with it, just thought id share!

I remember trying one of these many years ago with a guitar and wasn't that impressed as the drive was minimal and ended up buying a Fulltone Fulldrive II which was the biz. Looks like the bottle rocket is more suited to bass and that kind of makes sense.

They are discontinued of course, so eBay is probably the best way :) I might try and sort some sound clips out of the rocket with and without the hellbaby if I have time  defo recommend trying one. The one on eBay is reasonably priced however I did get mine for less

That seems to sound quite thinner and fizzy compared to my one, what valves did you have in yours?

I'm not looking for one right now as have to get rid of some stuff first (Art pre-amp tube compressor, Ibanez Artcore Bass, DVA old dual distortion).

Was just interested how mich they are going for as a reference... (by the way can't find the one on ebay!)

Cheers!
great pedals i'd recomend modding it and adding a mid control if you intend to hang onto it though!
hmm, yeah it would be a good mod (any details?), but would harm the value of it for resale, as they arn't exactly common :)

aye tis why i said if you intend to hang onto it

the tone stack is essentially the marshall tonestack without the mid knob if you replace the two 10k resistors with a 25k pot you'd have adjustable mids.
