kiat Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago theguitarshow.co.uk I'll be there Sunday, my first music show of any kind, so getting excited already. I'm planning on taking my main bass to try out effects and whatnot. Anyone going, fancy meeting up there? Would be so good to meet fellow BCers in person. Quote
Machines Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I'll be there with BassDirect, happy to have a chat with anyone that says hi 1 Quote
walshy Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Myself, @AndyTravis @lee650 will be on my stand Vintage Bass Room, pop past and say hello. Quote
Richard R Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago (edited) There's a thread for this one already. I went last year and it was a great event. Personally I wouldn't take a bass to a trade show. It's a heavy thing to lug about in a crowded space and you'll have to put it down to play anything else. The stands with effects pedals etc will have basses already. Also I'm not sure how you would prove it's yours and you're not nicking it when you leave or go outside for air. @skelf and @Manton Customs will be there too, probably downstairs with the guitars. When i last went they would give tags on the door to people bringing instruments in for that very reason... nice that someone had thought of that! 1 Quote

Yeah anything that leaves has to have a receipt from the stand you bought it from or a tag when you go in which is a good idea. Quote
