bassace97 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Just released (Probably to coincide with NAMM). Looks just the ticket for us who like a few outboard pedals with a modeller! 1 Quote
MrDinsdale Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Yeah, I think this is the one for me. Loved the QC except for the size. Honestly a Dual Cortex would’ve been perfectly sufficient for my needs at a reduced price but this looks epic. The smaller form factor combined with the v2 captures which are apparently a big improvement on the already impressive v1 is a great sell. It ain’t cheap and obviously there’s the Anagram but the ecosystem of captures out there vs NAM and ease of doing my own are the thing that’s put me off. I’ve never been a fan of the bass focused drives I’ve tried in the past, all my favourites are guitar centric so the bass-focused side of the Anagram is actually a little off putting. Quote
Russ Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Ooo. Just watched Erik Arko's video about it and I'm impressed, although he was using it with a bunch of other pedals. I'd want a standalone unit and just use what's in it, probably with an expression pedal. QC users - are there any good models of the MXR DynaComp and Bass DI+ out there? Those are kinda the two essential pieces of my effects chain, and if I can get them in the QC, I'm all in for it. They're not in the list of built-in effects, so where might one look for them? Quote

If you have the pedals I would recommend capturing them, the new v2 captures can even capture comps I’ve been using my full size QC alongside preamps and drives that i couldn’t replace but with the new capture tech I could definitely run the QC on its own Quote
Kev Posted January 21 Posted January 21 What the Nano should have been. I would love this instead of the full sized one, I have no use for the two rows of switches, 4 easily accessible scenes per preset would do me absolutely fine. Quote
mxm Posted January 22 Posted January 22 All good, just hope the masses of screen handles the accidental or misplaced mid song stomp! Quote

juice Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I am going to have to sell my helix LT and invest in this (and a plastic protector will made and added to make me feel better about the screen being close to the drunken audience) 1 Quote
three Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago A bit like standing in a station watching the departures board - supply times in the UK seem to be slipping back. I think GG has shifted from 02/02 to 13/02 and now end of the month. Probably not too surprising given global demand but I look foward to seeing real-world reports and reviews from UK users Quote
Kev Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago My initial keenness on this have died down somewhat for me. Seeing how you need to long press multiple switches to change presets killed it for me, means I could never consider using this live without a separate midi footswitch strip, which goes a long way to defeating the point of the smaller footprint and may even cost more than just having the full sized version. I've managed to mess up preset switching just pressing one 😅 Its looks great for use on a desk or midi driven rack, but otherwise I just don't think 4 switches is enough. Quote

They also had one in their pedal display cabinet. it was a great piece of equipment and very easy to use, but ultimately I felt it was overkill for my needs Edited 1 hour ago by markbunney Typo 1 Quote
